There are about a bazillion and one stories on the History Channel about the Nazis, but I must have missed this one: “The Nazi Gospels”. And I have to say it is one of the best programs I’ve seen that actually explains the origins of Nazi ideology, going back to the use of obscure (and revisionist) mythology. For example, the Nazi’s used some ancient mythology of ice people and the universe being made of ice in order to formulate an actual Nazi science policy based on the same thing. It very much reminds me of algore and how his views of junk science have led to actual environmental policies that harm people and businesses.

Anyway, the program drew so many parallels between the deification of Hitler and the deification of obama that it would be hard to argue against them. You can download it from YT.
