PARKING, MEETING PLACE, AND SPEAKER INFO:
Parking:
There is a lot of on street parking all around the capitol, and there are several parking garages and small lots within walking distance of the capitol building.
Meeting Place:
The organizer of this event will be positioned in front of the capitol building in view of the stairs. This is a good place to meet as we can spread up and around the capitol building as our numbers increase.
YES WE WILL HAVE SPEAKERS!
As of now we have representatives from Oath Keepers, Assemblyman Steve Katz, and Senator Kathy Marchione that will be speaking.
There are a few more speakers that are unable to confirm at this time due to scheduling conflicts, but they still may attend.

It’s going to be 40 degrees and dry in Albany ~ like summer almost. Well, for this time of year in NY.
It should be pretty interesting at the rally.
So far no one can figure out the new “law”, but it didn’t exempt POLICE OFFICERS, so they have to “fix” that. It seems to be a hot mess. All the better to trip us up into violating the law accidentally.
If I could leave this state I would be out in hot minute, but with my husbands job there is no way.

This new law means that a person cannot leave their firearms to a spouse or child. The “estate” has to sell them within one year – meanwhile the firearms are confiscated and held by the authorities.
If not sold within one year, the cops will destroy the guns and you will not be compensated a single F-ING PENNY.
The other problem with this part of the law is that the law is unclear if it is legal to sell those firearms to ANYONE, anywhere, inside or outside of NYS. The one thing IS clear, and that is that if a spouse dies while the guns are reg. in their name, no FAMILY member can inherit the guns.
I just watched part of the rebroadcast of a session from the 15th where this was discussed.
