From minimum-wage laws to gun control, liberal policies hit blacks disproportionately.

There is no question that liberals do an impressive job of expressing concern for blacks. But do the intentions expressed in their words match the actual consequences of their deeds?
San Francisco is a classic example of a city unexcelled in its liberalism. But the black population of San Francisco today is less than half of what it was back in 1970, even though the city’s total population has grown.
Severe restrictions on building housing in San Francisco have driven rents and home prices so high that blacks and other people with low or moderate incomes have been driven out of the city. The same thing has happened in a number of other California communities dominated by liberals.
Liberals try to show their concern for the poor by raising the minimum wage. Yet they show no interest in hard evidence that minimum-wage laws create disastrous levels of unemployment among young blacks in this country, as such laws created high unemployment rates among young people in general in European countries.
The black family survived centuries of slavery and generations of Jim Crow, but it has disintegrated in the wake of the liberals’ expansion of the welfare state. Most black children grew up in homes with two parents during all that time, but most grow up with only one parent today.
Liberals have pushed affirmative action, supposedly for the benefit of blacks and other minorities. But two recent factual studies show that affirmative action in college admissions has led to black students with every qualification for success being artificially turned into failures by being mismatched with colleges for the sake of racial body count.

Dear Mr. Sowell:
Allow me to respond to your article on behalf of all of us insensitive progressive jerks.
Frankly, we don’t want blacks living in nice cities, so thus the reason for building restrictions, high property taxes and other barriers to housing. Blacks have Chicago’s South Side and Detroit to live in, but we want to live in nice places with people who look like us and pretend to be concerned about the “less fortunate,” who fortunately live somewhere else.
Sure, lots of black people are killed by guns, but this happens mostly in the bad parts of cities where we won’t be seen unless there is a photo op or it benefits us in some way. The Sandy Hook shooting was by a white male who killed a lot of white kids – that’s a tragedy that people care about so we have to profess our outrage and pretend we care. But we will pass some laws that won’t solve any problems, this thing will blow over, and blacks can go back to shooting one another.
Raising the minimum wage is a good thing – it keeps blacks out of the work force and on welfare. Be serious, Mr. Sowell, do you really believe that a black person who looks at his pay stub and realizes that a big chunk is taken out to give to someone else will continue to buy our liberal bullshit forever? No, we need to keep your people on the dole and voting Democrat.
Please get with the program, Mr. Sowell, and try to keep your people on our plantation. Yes, we know that you have “evidence” showing our policies don’t work when it comes to bettering the lives of black people, but we don’t really care about that. What we care about is that blacks keep voting Democrat and keep us in power. Think of us as a kinder, gentler, yet every bit as evil KKK.

I propose Congress mandates, like they did with the banks, that a certain percentage of upscale artsy liberal neighborhoods be Section 8
Starting with San Fran, Seattle, Greenwich village, etc….

According to the statistics of the FBI, Blacks were charged with over 49 percent of the murders in the year 2011 (whilst they’re 13 percent of the population).
A big concentration of those victims and shooters are Blacks aged between 16 and 24.
It happens everyday, yet nobody seems interested in stopping all the black youth from being murdered in this USA, EVERYDAY.
.The single largest group of folks who both shoot and die is the gang-bangers, black gang-bangers. These account for half of all gun murders.
The first gun control laws in the USA came to stop non-whites from having guns. It began in 1751, with a law in Louisiana that required Eurocolonizers to stop any Black and “if necessary, beat any black carrying any potential weapon, such as a cane.”
Free Blacks in racist states had to obtain a license to have a gun. There was no restriction for Whites.

Affirmative action is racial socialism.
Methinks you’re scapegoating the Blacks for socialism. White pricks of the Academia and journalism are no better than the coloured fanatics of affirmative action.
The looming war ain’t about a race war; that’s what satan wants you to believe. There is a lot of good black folks and great Jews out there, good christians, hard-working, friends of freedom — natural allies in the fight against socialism and islam.
