Not sure what the purpose of this four-minute commercial is. Does the NRA plan to try to get it onto TV?

It’s a great piece of cheerleading but, at four minutes, it’ll be lost on the “leftist dipwads” whose attention span is only twnty seconds.

Look at us at iOTW– we play avideo here and it has about five seconds to score a point or we shut it off. At least I do.

I’m not questioning the piece; just wondering what its purpose was.

Oh, and the GOA (Gun Owners of America) has finally gotten some air time on this, too, via MSNBC & Andrea Mitchell.

For all of the people (even some pro-2nd Amendment people) who think that armed guards would upset the students:

I had armed police patrolling the halls of my school back when the race riots were going on (late 60s). For the first time in months I actually felt safe.

I cheered when he said that about armed guards in schools.

@Boobie the Rocket Dog its so you can forward the video to people who repeat the media mantra “NRA bad. Take everyone’s guns away, please. We can’t be trusted.”

It serves as a wake up call to the talking heads on the left that they can’t just do a verbal drive by on the NRA and expect not to draw return fire. Take note of how quickly the left pulls back the rhetoric on the bad, bad NRA now that they see the push back.

My bet, next week no one and I mean no one on the left will be talking about gun control any more now the their Lord and Enslaver has decreeded. Reid is going to let this disappear in the Senate nether regions and the House Dems will all run for cover.

Next week will be the beginning of the effort to get the House Reps to capitulate on the debt ceiling and to run interferance for Hilary as she tries to skate past the Benghazi slaughter. The debt ceiling fight is one the left thinks it can win and entitlement spending is their life’s blood so they will invest time and energy into it. And Hilary is their best candidate for 2016 so of course they have to protect her.

They’ve made all the political points they are going to make taking moral umbridge over guns. To keep that offensive going raises the potential of exposuree as hypocrites and incompetents as more citizens realize the double standard on protecting themselves (the elites) vs. average citizens and the ineffectiveness of the remedies they have put forward.

We not only have armed Police at our schools but their cars are parked front and center at Jr. and Sr. High Schools. Not a peep outta lefty teachers or their anti American unions. Amazing how many crimes are solved because some kid walks up to Resource Officer and spills the beans. God luv em.

1/3 of all US schools already have armed protection.
With obvious armed patols in malls, government buildings, amusement parks, etc., why would anyone be afraid of armed guards in a shool?
This has nothing to do with protecting the children, but everything to do with CONTROLLING YOU!

What do the bleeding heart libretards think a “school resource officer” is?! It’s an armed police officer from the local police agency and they have been in many school districts for YEARS! They freak out when they hear “armed guards”, but they are okay when they read “school resource officer” on the King’s edict.

Libs are stupid – why don’t they push for airport-like security for school children to indoctrinate them to give up their freedom?

To keep our freedom, conceal-carry guards at school is an active answer to the Newtown, Columbine, and whatever other tragedy they want to use to take away our freedoms.
