Senator Blanche Lincoln Disses Obama’s Payroll Skills

AP Photo
Actually, Senator Lincoln dissed his lack of payroll skills, during the Obama and Senate Democrats question time the other day. Oh, Snap!
She also took a swipe at Obama’s White House, referencing a constituent who “fears that there’s no one in your administration that understands what it means to go to work on Monday and make a payroll on Friday.“
Of course, she’s likely only finally getting a bit of the old “Oh, Snap” because she’s facing a fierce re-election battle. Still, it made me giggle madly. And she’s correct. Obama has little real world experience and he has surrounded himself with others who are lacking in that area as well. They can read fancy books and stuff, but that’s about all. It’s all theory; they’ve never actually put anything into practice.
Obama’s response to Senator Lincoln:
Obama responded by defending steps his administration has taken to right the economy and said “Moving forward, Blanche, what you’re going to hear from some folks…[is that] the only way to provide stability is to go back and do what we did before the crisis.”
The president reiterated that he would not return to past policies.
“If the price of certainty is for us to adopt the exact same proposals that were in place for eight years leading up to the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression…the result is going to be the same.”
Oh, really? He will not return to past policies that created the Crisis ™ ? Great! That must mean he is getting rid of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, I presume. He must also be planning to get rid of some of the growth-killing regulations that were in effect as well the past 8 years. Right?
Sigh.

He’s lying again.
Bernanke was reappointed by Odambam, and confirmed by a 70/30 vote. What more do you need to know about repeating the past?

Blanche is down 23 points to a guy who hasn’t even announced his candidacy. If this trend continues, by the time the election rolls around she’ll be down 763 points.
So it’s no surprise Sen.Lincoln has sunk to the point where she’s playing the race card and pointing out that Jug Ears is too lazy to have ever held a real job.
Damn, these Democrats are some stone cold racist Mo-Fo’s.

Of course Obama has never had a real job. Ted Kennedy never had a real job. Patrick Kennedy never had a real job. Many of the congress-critters in Washington have never had real jobs, but they feel qualified to tell private citizens how to live their lives.
I believe it was Phil Graham, who also never had a real job, who remarked after leaving the Senate that had he known how difficult it was to comply with government regulations, he would have not recommended so many of them. Duh.

Both the House and Senate are still wholly owned subsidiaries of Inter / National / Socialism. Frank, Dodd, Meeks, Waters – all the buffoons who brought down the country are still in their seats.

I would be more impressed if Blanche wasn’t just well, blanching from fear of losing her seat. This has all the sincerity of someone being held at gunpoint promising, “I’ll do anything you ask!”
As for Obama. He knows EXACTLY what caused our current financial mess. He just doesn’t give a sh*t. I’m with Rush on this one — the guy is doing all of this intentionally to destroy our free market. All of this talk about getting us out of this is nothing more than talk.

So instead, he’s adopting the exact same proposals that were in place for the eight years leading up to the Gread Depression itself and expecting the results not to be the same.
This man is barking mad. Not to mention stupid and ignorant.

No matter how big the screw up, BO will never admit he made a mistake or that his administration was in error. When the economy collapses and the nation is in ruin it will still be Bush’s fault. Kinda reminds me of my boss, he never makes a mistake either…

Wyatt AARP…. As I recall Senator George McGovern also said that, after being out of office for a time and attempting to purchase and operate a small hotel. He said he would never have passed so many laws making life difficult for small business people. I’ve often wondered if he still owns that hotel.

Wyatt: Some of these dicks had opportunities to
work once. Kennedy spent two years in the US army in Paris as penance for cheating in Harvard. He went in a private and came out a private. He must have been one fu*kuop. Kerry was in the Navy and brought his own camera crew with him. He was wounded by rice pellets. Thank God I didn’t know
them back then. Oh, I almost forgot. Al Gore was in Nam and had his own protective aid with him all the time. Daddy Gore did not want Baby Gore to get hurt. JFK was a man compared to them.

@MoeTom: I deeply respect the armed forces and those who serve in them. However, for most Americans, the armed forces are not “the real world,” and for the spawn of politically connected families, it generally does not even come close. There are notable exceptions: John Kennedy saw combat as did his brother Joe.
Be that as it may, a military career is not an option for most Americans. Moreover, the military is not a democratic organization – personnel are essentially assets to be used where best needed. Military personnel are fed, clothed, housed, equipped, given medical attention, and generally told what to do.
I do not mean in any way to denigrate military personnel. However, my point was that professional politicans believe they know what is best for average citizens, and the fact is that many of the people have never even been in the private sector for any length of time.

This woman, Blanche, she just looks…uh…her name is just…uh, her positions are…uh. Isn’t there someone better in that state – a public servant type who could do something other than play guitar on a folksy variety show? Now that I particularly like that type of person, but we need patriots to step into the void here.
