One of points I would like to make is to look Piers into his oddly misaligned eyes and say, I listened to the left call Bush a moron for 8 years because his response to 9/11 was to wage war with Iraq. Fine, fair enough.
Your response to gun murders in America, where the vast, vast majority have been carried out by handguns, is to go after AR-15′s. You’re either as stupid as Bush, or your real agenda is to get to the handguns … eventually.

Shit, that’s the only thing Bush did right, and it was probably Cheney’s idea. Here’s what people miss about Iraq. If we declared war on the al qaeda in the middle of the Mojave dessert a certain amount of those assholes would show up to fight. We picked the battle ground and kept it off our soil for a long time.

Brad is right about Iraq.
1) Saddam himself was a potential WMD,
2) and indeed, good ground to clear the area, to install a sheriff in the M.E.
What sucked however was that they did not use OVERWHELMING force. They should have been more shock and more awe.
And Brad is right about W.s’ economic policies: it was ‘compassionate’ BS, anyting but conservatism.
