They Were Prepared and Simply Waiting for Another Tragedy to Exploit
The most cynical would say that they created the tragedy. It sounds far-fetched until you look at Fast and Furious and what the intent was there – to create gun violence in order to justify “action.”
Name Redacted looked for this clip and linked to it. Thank you.

The Obama/Crowley collusion is so apparent now. Watch towards the end when Romney speaks about Fast and Furious.
Obama puts on the nervous smile.
Candy Crowley deflects the conversation so Obama doesn’t have to respond.

Oh, you don’t think everyone in the Obama White House wasn’t trembling with excitement when the news broke about Newtown? You know they were. Good grief, I wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t people rushing through the halls of the West Wing with big, shit-eating grins on their faces at the sheer ANTICIPATION of how they could use that tragedy to advance their agenda.
These people are like opportunistic infections.

Obama will issue new laws that he knows will not work to stop gun violence. After wash, rinse, repeat several times, he will declare that gun confiscation is the only answer. Beware!

I have to ask why Gov. Dannel malloy said this at his comments shortly following the Sandy Hook tragedy:
“Lieutenant Governor and I have been spoken to in an attempt that we might be prepared for something like this playing itself out in our state.”
That was the second sentence he said that day.
Weird, weird statement.

the “war on drugs” had conspired to incarcerate 40% of the current prison population.
How much of the future prison population will be comprised of current law abiding gun owners caught up in the “war on guns”?

@Mr. Pinko, he tossed a stare at Crowley at the mention of F&F as if it was a signal for help…and he got it.

I just looked back at my copy from ABC. This discussion was on the heels of the Bengahzi flap rescue from Crowley, that is why bam-bam was standing with Romney at the beginning of this clip…and ABC showed a different angle, and bam-bam was definately eyeballing candy for the F&F rescue!
I hate the MFM!

I know I read somewhere about a year or two ago that one of the first things Obama would do once safely reelected was to use the first thing he could to demagogue guns and try and ban them. It was one of the things he worked on as a state senator, too.
And this is just the beginning of Obama unleashed. The last four years were bad but now it’s going to get really crazy. And the guy hasn’t even been re-sworn in yet.
We would all be safer is we could ban Obama than if Obama banned guns.

@Diann – :…These people are like opportunistic infections….”
My level of cynacism runs far deeper than just opportunists. Stalinists/statists place no value on life in the pursuit of their ideological objectives – which by the way is total domination over the proletariat, of which, disarming law abiding citizens is a requirement for success. I’ll let you make the inference.

Somebody I know (not me, ’cause I lost all my guns in my last move in ’97) went to the largest gun/ammo dealer in a two county area this morning to stock up. The ammo shelves were almost bare. He got the last two boxes of 50ct .22 LR in the store! They said they can’t get anymore anywhere. They had just over 1 dozen boxes of 7 1/2 bird shot (he got 4 boxes) and no buck shot, turkey loads or any other 12 guage ammo other than 4 boxes of 5ct rifled slugs. They had only 8 boxes of 20ct 30-06 shells! They had a few boxes here and there of 7.66 and such, but for the most part, they were sold out of the most popular ammo, and cannot get it from anywhere to restock their shelves.
Anybody else have a simalar experience?

@Menderman Yep. I live in the suburbs of Dallas and although I also lost my guns in my last move (mine was in ’99) I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another the store shelves were bare for 9mm. There was still some .40 and .357/.38 ammo. 22LR was OK to get, but there was a BIG blank area on the ammo shelves.
The unnamed source went to the local Wal-Mart after being told they had a shipment of 9mm come in that morning. By the time they got there the last two boxes were just sold.
As far as weapons go, I happened to walk past the gun counter and noticed all the AR style rifles were sold out. They had some shotguns, a few various rifles, couple of crossbows. As far as handguns they were mostly cleared out except for the display models.
It’s not just you buddy. Lots of people are preparing.
