Ed Asner and Martin Sheen Join Failed Shitty Actor’s Zero Dark Thirty Boycott
Some has-been actor that was on some show Thirty Something (years ago) is calling for a boycott (a solidarity snubbing) by the “Academy.” (Only a collection of drop-outs, drug addicts, bimbos, arrested-development narcissists would call their body “the Academy of Arts and Sciences!?!?)

Ed Asner is retarded so…..
Martin Sheen?….yeah, he’s retarded too.
As are so many in their line of work. Yet we keep throwing our money at them….what does that say about us?????
You want them to STFU? let their money well (us) dry up!

David Clennon? Never heard of him.
Guess he must be the failed shitty actor.
Gotta say I liked Asner as alcoholic, know-nothing lowlife Guy Bannister in . Not much acting involved.
Never liked Martin Sheen in anything.

@JD, “Yet we keep throwing our money at them….what does that say about us?????”
Actually, a lot of us don’t. I haven’t spent a thin dime to support any of the Hollowood crowd for years.
These bleeding hearts make me puke. “Torture”?
To me “torture” was people forced to jump from the WTC to their deaths.
Not to mention what Danny Pearl’s widow lives with every day.

I haven’t been to a movie theater in years, and I like movies.
It’s simply not worth the money when there are movies I haven’t seen that are free.

I wasn’t going to see Zero Dark Thirty just because I’ve been pretty burned by most of the three-hour movies that have come out this year (Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, Django Unchained). After reading this I think I’ll go see it this weekend.

I should have said “came out last year.” I’m still writing 2012 on my checks, too.

I seem to have found myself in a Cinemark theater almost every Wednesday afternoon since October.
Saw Gone With The Wind, The Sting, 2001: A Space Oddity, Young Frankenstein and several other old favorites on the BIG screen with the BIG sound.
This Wednesday it’ll be The Sound of Music.
Series of six senior tickets are $30. Can’t beat that!
Downside: Do NOT arrive before showtime. The previews and warmup crap are just that.

Remember how excited Hollywood trash got when two members of their club participated in the blood libel known as “Valley of the Wolves?”
Come to think of it, I don’t remember any excitement, either. Never mind.

@Norman,
Ditto for me, I say that only in as a generalization, I know, I should be more specific at times for exactly this reason.
Too many conservatives however will admit, I have even seen it here at iOTW that someone will make the statement something along the lines of “I really don’t like the politics of this or that actor, but I think he/she was good in such and such movie’
I refer to these people as ‘us’

I rarely go to movies anymore, but I saw this movie this weekend – matinee pricing at $5.50 – I refuse to pay full price.
The torture were scenes were pretty benign, all things considered. Kiefer Sutherland in “24″ had much more graphic torture scenes than this movie. Three thousand Americans die, plus those in subsequent car bombings, and all these asswipes care about is a couple of camel jockys being persuaded to answer our questions.
This is just more phony faux-”outrage” on the part of the left, so they can attend their cocktail parties and preen about how hip cool and compassionate they are.

They weren’t going to see this movie anyway. Ed and Martin going to a theater, come on.

norms correct, going to see movies just gives these commies more time to stand on their soap box yelling about their current communist cause.

How about boycotting all Hollywood movies that are showing guns, potential child killers according to the liberal , commie matherfuckers sitting in the Academy.
I want to see how fast you make those sick fortunes, making movies showing birds singing and hippies fucking
