Do these libstains even know what trauma this woman will be going through for the rest of her life? A newly-released convicted felon broke into her house. She had to shoot him to protect her children while her husband was on the phone to 9-1-1. She will probably be having nightmares for months or years. That is the tragedy in this story. She should sue the department of corrections for emotional distress.

And something to remember, libstains. The husband was on the phone to 9-1-1 (as you demand) and the police WERE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. Had she not had a gun for home defense, you idiots would be reporting a home invasion with a dead family and the police having very little in the way of leads.
