More Embarrassing Black Scholars

Melissa Harris Perry offers to us the inner workings of her brilliant mind. Here she is discussing Obama’s lack of diversity in the secretary cabinet positions.

Distilled to it’s small tiny bouillon cube of idiocy, what this moron is saying is that there needs to be a Black Constitution.

Real Clear Politics:

“The optics are one piece of it of it. But, I think we want to be careful, because no one wants to assume that any given physical body carries with it a set of political ideas, so for example, you know, Clarence Thomas sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States does not mean that Justice Thomas is representing, necessarily, the positions, the issues, even the Constitutional interpretation that is shared by the vast majority of civil rights organizations and by the vast majority of African-Americans.”

Yes Melissa, Clarence Thomas is anti-black. You’ve made your case, because a conservative black guy is anti-black. Nuff said. Bubblehead.

Geezuz, what an idiot. Thomas is not supposed to represent the blacks or the whites or any other hue. He’s supposed to represent all the people as well as the constitution and for that matter, the country as a whole. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised what with her have a BA in English and a PHD in Political Science. Both of these anyone with time and money (or an affirmative action checkmark) can get regardless of intellect although I would have thought the PolySci experience would have forced her to think a bit about the constitution.

“… Justice Thomas is representing …”

Anybody explain to this airhead that the Justices of the Supreme Court don’t ‘represent’ anything or anyone?

The Members of the House of Representatives are supposed to ‘represent’ the people who elected them.

The Members of the Senate are supposed to ‘represent’ the States that elected them.

The President is the Chief Executive who is supposed to faithfully execute the laws passed by the Legislature – he doesn’t ‘represent’ anyone, either.

I think she wasted her time ‘doing’ grad school.

You know the answer to that. It gives the appearance of sophistication and hipness.

I couldn’t finish listening to that woman. She has so much Caucasian DNA in her make up that I am baffled at her audacity to be presenting herself as some authoritative spokesperson on behalf of negroes. This race stuff has hit the bottom of the ludicrous barrel.

Seriously, I thought we all knew better than to sit on platforms such as this woman so gleefully and stupidly sits on with her mostly white ass mixed with a little black.

What the hell happened to CHARACTER, CHARACTER, CHARACTER as the driving force behind living a good life and profiting from and enjoying the benefits of living in a free nation regardless of the particular shade your flesh happens to be?

Where the hell are all the black people in America who have made good lives for themselves and their families because they have good character and God-given skills they have parlayed into successful careers? Why aren’t they rising up and speaking out against all these TV talking-head race hustling/race agitators? How can they know this utter BS is being spewed every damn day in the media and continue being silent while these terrible people are in the process of shredding all the rights and liberties that allowed them to be successful in the first place???

Can you tell I’m pretty darn angry and fed up with this crap? ;-)

Certain “people” who try to sound intelligent actually make asses out of themselves. I remember years ago there was this guy on with Bill Buckley on Firing Line who kept saying to Buckley: “quote, unquote,” quote, unquote. quote, unquote. Finally Buckley stopped him. “You don’t have to say “quote, unquote,” when you say “As a matter of fact,” I’m sure everyone in the world has said “As a matter of fact,” one time or another!”
    How I miss that guy.
I am paraphrasing Buckley. But he stopped the asshole cold.

If this woman’s braids weren’t pulled too tight, paralyzing her brain, she would know that Justice Thomas is not supposed to carry any “political ideas”. Nor is he supposed to “represent” anyone’s “positions” or “interpretations.

He was hired to be impartial. And any judge, who can’t or won’t do that, should be fired.
