NY Gov Cuomo Says That All Guns Should Be Kept Away From Progressives
I’m serious. It sounds like a joke, but he said it.
Look. I’ll emphasize the part of the 7 point plan that he laid out in his state of the state speech here in New York -
“Number 1: Enact the toughest assault weapon ban in the nation, period!” he shouted, before ticking off his other new gun control proposals. “Number two, close the private sale loophole by requiring federal background checks. Number three, ban high-capacity magazines. Number four, enact tougher penalties for illegal gun use, guns in school grounds and violent gangs. Number five, keep guns from people who are mentally ill. Number six, ban direct internet sales of ammunition in New York. Number seven, create a state [National Instant Criminal Background Check System] check on all ammunition purchases.”

does anyone else think that all this current crying by our politicians about civilian gun possesion is nothing more than the fear the politicians are starting to feel due to the oncoming economic collapse they have instituted and the likely response by the citizens they are condeming to a life of servitude to the all powerful state and themselves, the elected officials.
you can’t fix stupid but when hunger and cold sets in you can’t predict the response of the stupid either or expect their continued support.

From the sound of this article, Cuomo is unhinged.
This address was a rambling mess, like a little kid’s Christmas list.
Besides ‘gun control’, he wants:
- teachers to have to pass a “bar-type” exam (yeah, right)
- end the NYPD’s ‘stop and frisk’ policy
- decriminalize small amounts of marijuana
- open casinos (NIMBY applies = but not in NY city)
- drive commerce to upstate New York (I LOVE that one)
He neglected to mention world peace, an end to world hunger, or a cure for stupid.

In the Montgomery County where I live, we have one of the highest unemployment rates, teen pregnancy rates, cancer rates, lowest school test scores, high percentage of senior citizens, high county & school tax rates, and a dysfunctional county government. A correction here: Liberals/progressives are in favor of ownership of the very thngs they want to see banned, just so long as it is THEY who have ownership of them. After all, how else are you going to force the redistribution of the wealth and shoot all those enemies of the state/party?
I have yet to see or hear of any gun banning advocate give up THEIR firearms or CCW permit? If they think being disarmed is such a great idea, then they ought be the first to disarm. Hypocrites!
