    HERO!!!! ‘Unconstitutional Laws Aren’t Laws’ I hope he gets tons and tons of support from other military and “average” gun owners. He has my support.

    OT – but how do I get to “older views”? I click on continue reading or previous articles and they bring me back to same main page. I also went to Jan 2013 and it only kept me on same main page. I’d like to see posts and comments from last night and yesterday. Am I missing something?

    Props to the newscaster for giving Boston a fair forum to speak his views. She questioned and disputed his views, but gave him the opportunity to respond and pretty well detail his opinion. Sgt. Schultz or Chrissy Matthews would never allow such a thing on their shows.

    @TA how do I get to “older views”?

    If you mean older blog entries I know of two ways:

    1)at the top of this page, to the left of – Mr Pinko, it says Home. Click on it to be able to scroll to older blog topics.

    2) at bottom of right side column below the banner “Archives” is a drop down menu to select the month.
    Both ways work for me.

    Good for Mr. Boston!

    In the Army, we were taught that unlawful orders are not to be obeyed and that obeying unlawful orders can result in punishment.

    Wouldn’t it be nice if police officers and other congratulatory authorities were given the same moral compass as our fighting men?

    Damn straight!

    What has troubled me is I grew up in a town maybe 20, 30 miles from Athens, Tennessee and don’t recall the story of the “Battle of Athens” from my youth. I remember taking US, World and Tennessee History as well as Civics. I also remember discussing the differing views on the Constitution and the Second Amendment, this would have been a fantastic argument to show exactly what the true spirit of a “Militia” is in modern times.

    We are obligated to defend freedom from all enemies foreign or domestic. There is a reason the phrase is included in oaths of office.

    One thing I find truly repulsive about Sen. Fienstien’s proposal is the idea that we will ‘grandfather” Constitutionally acknowledged rights to the current users, but future citizens will be denied their rights. Those are the same future citizens who will be compelled to pay for today’s unfunded government debt.

    Of course nobody ever votes to restrict their own rights, just the rights of those who can’t defend themselves.
