If Only He Had a Gun
Area residents are still shaken up over the death of an antique dealer who was bludgeoned to death. 58-year-old J. Robert Shimer died of blunt force trauma to the head and his death was ruled the 30th homicide of 2012.
Booth 63 belonged to J. Robert Shimer of Fort Wayne. Those who knew him best called him J.R. Shimer was found dead just after five p-m at the antiques on Broadway store on Monday. A customer entered the store, searched for an employee, and found Shimer.

Impossible. The man can’t possibly be dead. The article clearly states he was beaten. That means there wasn’t a gun involved, and we all know that only guns can be used to murder people.
Unless maybe he was beaten to death with a gun. I guess that might explain it.

Catch the way the TV report was choreographed? The reporter begins describing the incident as a parade of video and sound clips tease the viewer into thinking “who the hell could have done something like this?”
Then a black face comes around the corner mumbling what sounds like a prepared script in as disinterested a tone of voice as possible.
Bitch might as well have said, “Serves you right fo’ bein’ white!”

The gun-grabbers are already running out of steam but you know what’s really going to kill their buzz? The Zimmerman riots this summer. Once these libs see a gang of Gee Gobos running at their car and working their door handles the thought of having a gun will suddenly seem less repulsive.

Fort Wayne is in Indiana, where you can carry a weapon at your home or business without even having to get a carry permit.
This is a rare incident in the Hoosier state, because most business owners here are ARMED.
That’s why incidents like this are so rare.
I’m sorry he’s dead, but if he’d had a gun, he’d probably be alive right now.
