    Remember the cartoon back in 19 … um WAY back (I think it was Bugs Bunny) where a character (either a dog or cat?) got a job at a bomb factory. He would hit a bomb with a hammer as it was coming down the line and if it didn’t blow up, he’d write “Dud” on it. Then he says, “Duh, after 30 year I get a pension!”

    Well, something like that. It was several decades ago.

    Seriously though folks, those fuses are pretty good. They require ‘setback’(couple hundred G’s from a normal launch) and rotation (spin imparted by rifling or fins) before they arm. They are high explosive containing but the engineering applied to the construction is pretty good.

    You won’t see me using them for lawn darts but you don’t have to tip toe around ‘em either.
