Seems your right L S. It being called fake is very most likely the Brady Campaign trying to contain the damage of their poorly though out ad. It being called fake here appears to me that some people buy into conspiracy theories and hold people they thought were politically allied with them in too high of regard.

The Brady Campaign just overestimated the current political climate and now they are paying for it as seen in the backlash to this ad of theirs.

I thought it was a satire done by anti-brady folks.
Who would be that stupid? Plus the images were done badly.

There was even one of a 300lb woman with 2 guns on her waistband and her belly hanging out and it said something about how we should repeal the 2nd because nobody wants to see THIS. And it had the same brady campaign labels on it, too.

I saw a total of 3 images. And a statement from the brady page on Facebook saying they are trying to find out who is responsible and they would try to take the imageS down. Now, I can’t find them anywhere on Facebook.

my understanding is that after the brady campaign posted the original rape image, some people made a bunch of over the top fakes mocking them.

after brady figured out their mistake they quickly tried to distance themselves by attributing their rape ad to the people that made the fakes.

Regardless of whether or not the Brady Campaign created the graphic, it is the ultimate truth of their position.

And yes, the graphic did originate on the Brady Campaign Facebook web page. While it might not have been officially sanctioned, it still accurately represents them.

The graphic is brilliant in that regard.

here’s how I look at it- if it’s real, then good. it reveals the rabid evilness of the left, and should give women a clue that the leftists are in no way REALLY on their side.

Thanks, Sundance, for explaining it. The graphic was so like something the Brady bunch would put out that the “joke” was lost on me. And since I don’t do Facebook I never saw it in its original setting.
