A list of bad inventions
I am bored with politics, refuse to pay attention to the news and am watching only True Crime TV shows and Turner Classic Movies these days. With the Democrats controlling the Senate and presidency, nothing good can possibly come out of Washington for at least another two years. So I thought I’d start the new year with something useful, like a short list of bad inventions.
(1) SILENT DISHWASHERS
Are people installing dishwashers next to their beds? I’ve checked my “Top 500 Daily Irritations” list and dishwasher noise is not on it.
What possible benefit derives from having a dishwasher that makes absolutely no noise? Was that gentle whooshing sound driving some homeowners bonkers? Is this a product designed by the same people who gave us the electric car, a vehicle so silent that the first sign of its approach is the sound of your pelvis breaking as the car hits you?
Not only are the virtues of a silent dishwasher elusive, but there’s one big disadvantage: You can’t tell if it’s running. A dishwasher doesn’t have to sound like the Concorde blasting off to provide some indication that the thing is working.

I agree with Xthred… Why is she still here. I like my quiet dishwasher–I can actually have a conversation in the kitchen now. I also just pull the cord from the back of the phone to silence it. She is as whiny as Christie.

I think her schoolgirlish crush on various RINOs has pissed off quite a few people (including me).
That pro-2nd Ammendment piece she did recently was good, but I’m 90% of the way to permanently ignoring her (as if my opinion matters at all). All it would take is one more “country club RINO” rant, an “I told you so” against conservative values or a “we need to dump our core values to compete with the Commies” column from her and that’s it.

So many of the regular commenters here loved Ms Coulter. Even up until most recently. What was the thing she did or said that tipped you all into the “me no likey her no more” category? Just curious.
And when are ya’ll going to figure out that Malkin isn’t the patriotic heroine you want to believe she is?
Are you all beginning to figure out that none of these ‘stars’ we so hopefully hitched our wagons to are really in this game to help us truly rout these horrifically bad people from our government and from all the rest of our institutions?

Money is their friend. Our money. All they really want is just more of your money. Saving America from marxism is actually not high on their ToDo list. Do you think it is?

Dont we understand what a precipice we are standing on right now? I swear, I am now looking into the ugly maw of life and death making ready to pounce on all of us. Scares the crap out of me.

This article clearly proved that Coulter needs to stick with skewering and roasting liberals. What a pathetic piece.
And Kair, I have come to agree with your point that all of these so-called conservative pundits are part of the problem, and NOT the solution. They are using us to enrich themselves. This has become a game of who can accumulate the most wealth before the whole economy implodes and with it our nation.
I hate to say this about Rush, but he was at least honest when responding to the question of why he won’t run for office: “I don’t want to take the pay cut.” How patriotic.
