#1 OK…. Here comes some of those Obama care taxes on Jan 1, 2013. Soon every purchase you make, there will more taxes. On 103.98 I was charged 8.58 for Texas state taxes. And then Obama care medical tax another 2.39. So the more you spend , the more goes to the “so called free Obama care”.
#2 O didn’t raise taxes, now did he. Here’s another ObamaTax receipt so you KNOW this is real. They should put ObamaTax on these so people know what they are paying. #tcot #tlot

I haven’t bought anything in the New Year yet to see if this pops up on my receipts. You? I think maybe we need a receipt campaign-like the sticky notes- to enlightened folks that there isn’t such a thing as a free lunch-or free healthcare.

My 83 year old mom called me today freaking out about these new taxes. She had to buy bandaids yesterday and there was an extra tax because bandaids are now classified as “medical equipment”.
And if you have pets, be prepared for higher vet bills as well.

Good idea on the receipt campaign. Got my phone bill today and it has gone up a few bucks. Auto insurance too. They are passing the cost of 0bamatax on to the consumers.
This guy is lucky he has some spare money to go shopping for gun hardware.

@JClady My parents will do the same thing the next time they go to CVS to buy something. Mom got her other knee replaced last year because of her fear of Obamacare.
The vet bills going up…in a weird way may impact the Libs more than some other tax. I think they like their pets more than kids! My pets are my kids- so I shouldn’t talk-but I see the western WA libs in my vet office and they irritate me there as much as any other place.

If liberal “Snopes” can be believed, they said this was a glitch in a new program Cabela’s had begun to use, which misapplied the “medical device excise tax” to all purchases. They seemed to use this same receipt in their discussion.
Lord knows it’s going to be bad enough anyway!! THIS government given the opportunity to decide what constitutes a medical device?? THESE government workers will probably deem pens and pencils to be medical devices, since they sit there and use them to dig in their ears, noses, and other orifices until check day. There will be no end to the idiocracy.

I haven’t seen anything like that on my receipts, either, but I find it completely believable that this administration would try something like that. There’s really very little I would assume them incapable of trying.

No sure what Cabela’s is doing or if it is a photoshop stunt, but there is a 2.3% ObamaCare Medical Device Excise Tax since Jan 1. I believe it’s paid by the manufacturers so it doesn’t show up as a tax on your receipt but higher prices from pacemakers to bandaids.
This just the tip of iceberg Obama. And the band played on on the USA Titanic.
