The MAIN issue really appears to be what the true meaning of “natural born Citizen”, as it is written into the Constitution, actually means.

IF it does indeed mean that to be a “natural born Citizen”, in 1787 language, was to require both birth on US soil/two US citizen parents, then obama would be ineligible no matter where he was born. Period.

Say the true, provable definition of nbC is two citizen parents/US birth, his birth certificate wouldn’t be any issue at all. It could be absolutely perfect, and true and correct – yet he would be ineligible. If his mother was listed as single, with no father named – then obama WOULD be nbC (providing born in US), no matter who his mother claimed as the father.

Occasionally, in my spare time I have tried to research the 1787 definition, a-la period writings.

It’s difficult to do as such things are not too commonly found in the average library or even online. So far, the bulk of what I found was written at or after the 14th amendment was passed
and is referenced in connection with that. However, in most cases where it is mentioned in connection with that amendment, BOTH definitions are used. Simply born on US soil (anchor-baby style), and US birth to two citizen parents.

It’s very interesting research, but extremely time consuming.

@ Hotlanta Mike– I think FMD is his daddy,too,but mom did something hinky with his citzenship during the Indonesia phase which never was fixed, and it has been both a curse and blessing to him. Curse, because he had to get a bootleg SSN from the Hawaiian Yakuza to get his first job at Baskin Robbins. Blessing, because he rode the Foreign Student elevator to a privileged education.

His inner circle, and Dem and GOP elites, know the truth and consider him the unfortunate victim of legal actions which rendered him a non-citizen long ago.. They cannot fix things, so they do their best to ignore or hide inconvenient facts. They actually prefer that his detractors spend time and effort chasing the Kenyan red herring.

There are two possibilities. Either this birth certificate is real or it is fake. There is no door number 3.

If it is fake, then 0bama is guilty of a felony in the State of Hawai’i because he altered an official document with intent to defraud. And remember, as stated in American Jurisprudence, fraud vitiates everything.

If it is real, then he has admitted that his father was not a United States citizen at the time of his birth.

The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. @Vangrungy — I actually had some koolaidian tell me that the reason Vattel cannot be used in conjunction with 0bama’s BC and the definition of natural born citizen, is due to the fact that Vattel’s book was not translated into English until after the Constitution was written. I’m not joking.

I asked him if he knew how many of the framers of the Constitution spoke French. He did not. I told him that the author of the Constitution, James Madison, spoke fluent French. So he understood exactly what Vattel wrote. The conversation ended there.

During a court hearing in New Jersey last April where the judge ruled that Obummer was eligible to be placed in the Jersey Presidential ballot, Obummer’s lawyer all but admitted that the birth certificate previously released by the White House was a forgery. Of course nothing was made of this by the media and the low intel/no info voters wouldn’t care anyway.

in hindsight the focus should have been on his communist ties and his father’s and mother’s real background. when you think about it it’s been obama’s bizarre and shady past that has opened the floodgates to the tolerance of letting the law slide.
