Truth About Guns

“The ISRA has learned from a credible source that Illinois Senate President John Cullerton [above] will introduce a so called ‘assault weapons’ ban on Wednesday when the legislature returns for its ‘lame duck’ session. Cullerton hopes to ramrod the bill through and get it to Governor Quinn for signature by Friday. If he is successful at doing so, nearly every gun you currently own will be banned and will be subject to confiscation by the Illinois State Police . . .

This article makes absolutely no sense. In one paragraph it goes on about confiscating all semi-automatic firearms, then in the next it says magazines in excess of 10 rounds will need to be registered.

I’m pretty stupid, but why do you need magazines if anything semi-automatic is illegal?

They also seem to have unofficially stopped issuing FOID cards. By law they are to respond to an applicant within 30 days. I’ve been waiting almost 2 months, no response. I’ve also been waiting 2 weeks for a response to an inquiry.

    WTF.

A Chicago politician from a city with a high murder rate wants to punish mostly law abiding citizens. A typical liberal retarded solution to problems which seem to be largely caused by liberal retarded politicians.

So if this legislation passes everyone in IL. with a gun will be an outlaw? I wonder if the police support this legislation? I wonder what this will mean for IL. game hunting?

Say, what happens to people driving through IL. with guns? Say hunters from IN. driving to IA. for some bird hunting. Will their guns be legal while in the state of IL. or will they become outlaws to?

There are actually two bills proposed: one to ban all modern firearms and the other to ban “hi cap” mags. If the first were to pass the second would be obviated. If the first fails, then they could still get the second. A friend in Chicago said that this same legislation got trounced only a month ago. Outside of Chicago there is very little support for gun control. But in the present hysterical, irrational climate it could be different this time around, especially concerning a magazine ban.

News Flash: No article in the Bill of Rights, (the first 10 amendments) is subject to repeal. Except for the 10th amendment which explicitly constrains the federal government, all Rights enumerated, (not granted!) are individual rights. The Bill of Rights recognizes, rights; it does not grant them/

Now pay attention to the modern argument that the second amendment “gives” people the right to bear arms.

You know the world is upside down when the Russians warn us about the agenda of Progressive gun control.

This has to somehow be in response to overturning Illinois conceal carry laws on December 11. They are throwing a handful of shit on the wall hoping something will stick so they can declare victory for both sides, as the compromise solution. The state’s progs got their asses handed to them on CC and that needs to be taken into consideration when attempting to rationally deduce this steaming hunk of shit.

*Indiana to Illinois…How does it feel knowing we can have all the unregistered guns we want, and have a incoming Conservative Gov (Mike Pence) and supermajority Republican state legislation who will NOT enforce any gun bans if they are passed?

How’s that feel, neighbor next door?

    I say ram it through.

This should include the confiscation of personal bodyguards firearms of Cullerton. He wants to ram it through, then fine, but no guns for his Security. He can do what the rest of the sheep in Illinois do when they are in danger…Call the police, and wait.
