$1 Trillion Obamacare Tax Hike Hitting on Jan. 1

On January 1, regardless of the outcome of fiscal cliff negotiations, Americans will be hit with a $1 trillion Obamacare tax hike.

Obamacare contains twenty new or higher taxes. Five of the taxes hit for the first time on January 1.  In total, Americans face a net $1 trillion tax hike for the years 2013-2022, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

The five major Obamacare taxes taking effect on January 1 are as follows:

The Obamacare Medical Device Tax: Medical device manufacturers employ 409,000 people in 12,000 plants across the country. Obamacare imposes a new 2.3 percent excise tax on gross sales – even if the company does not earn a profit in a given year.  In addition to killing small business jobs and impacting research and development budgets, this will increase the cost of your health care – making everything from pacemakers to artificial hips more expensive.

The Obamacare Flex Account Tax: The 30-35 million Americans who use a pre-tax Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at work to pay for their family’s basic medical needs will face a new government cap of $2500. This will squeeze $13 billion of tax money from Americans over the next ten years. (Currently, the accounts are unlimited under federal law, though employers are allowed to set a cap.)

There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children.  There are several million families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education. This Obamacare tax provision will limit the options available to these families.

If I take the trillion dollars and divide that by about 350 million Americans, that’s about $2850. Can I just cut them a check now and keep my current health plan like they said I could?

There are only 100 million taxpayers, so make that check for about 10K.

Read today’s American Thinker blog, The gloater in chief. I can’t stand these bastards on the left and their endless gloating. It’s time to grow a pair and stand up to thes jerks and tell them, “We’re mad as Hell and we’re not going to take it anymore.” Other than that Happy New Year and don’t let the leftist turkeys ruin your day. God is still in charge and he knows what’s going on and these turkeys have more than met their match. They may deny God but their day of judgement is coming. When it does come, please God help me not to gloat in their demise and downfall.

I don’t give a damn about the Republicans anymore. Its the American people I’m talking about who need to stand up. Screw both the GOP and the democraps. Surely there are enough patriots who will stand up and fight for what is right. If not, I agree we’re screwed but I’m not giving up not without a fight. My children demand that I do no less and my Dad, my uncles and everyone in my family tree who fought in the Civil War with the Union Army and clear back to one of my relatives on my Mom’s side who fought at Lexington and Concord deserve the same. My trust is in God and not man and surely not gutless GOP cowards or democraps for that matter.

Wait until the occupoopers get their FREE bills from the hospitals, doctors, blood labs, and such. You watch and see bankruptcies are going to go up.

Put a cap on flex spending accounts at $2500, watch and see if deductibles don’t go to 5 or 6k too.

If it were stupidity, it would be excusable.

This is criminal conspiracy, and should be punishable by death.

God is, indeed, the Master of the Universe – but I don’t recall Him involving Himself in politics.
