I’m not sure where your going with the link, particularly being an ultra conservative from the free people of Northern Cali. LOL
In my mind this isn’t the battle that real matters to the asshole. We are hitting the debt limit like 5 hours ago. We really need our Tea Party folks to grind this asshole into the ground. Right now I really think that’s where he is most vulnerable.

I’m guessing it was the video of someone falling through the ice on a lake, and others running over to help and falling through themselves.

    Here’s one version. http://myfox8.com/2012/12/31/video-good-samaritans-fall-through-ice-during-rescue-in-calif/

Thanks Dan, I missed that. I wish people would realize Cali is like two different states. And it’s not just north and south. It might be east and west. Listen to Hank Jr. He’s been here hunting.

There just isn’t much common sense in America any more. Since his incident took place in California, it is easy to poke fun at Californians. But this type of group idiotic behavior is manifest all over the map.

Now California will no doubt pass some law or regulation to keep idiots from repeating his stupid debacle. When, in reality, if we could somehow plant common sense back into our every day lives, we wouldn’t have to ‘law’ ourselves to death over every conceivable way to keep stupid people from doing stupid things.

I guess when our seriously hard times comes upon us soon, this stupid herd is going to be thinned. I guess there is no better analogy to describe this ilk of people than that they are all literally skating on thin ice and are too stupid to comprehend the looming catastrophe.

These are the same wetbacks that have ruined beaches like Newport Beach by going swimming in thier jeans, underwear and bras, bringing a ton of food to the beach and then leaving all their trash behind. They do the same thing to the local mountains when snow falls. I’m sure they will be suing someone, claiming the ice should have been thicker to support their fat tamale asses.

Dude – you are so right! I saw a group up in the Lagunas that left mountains of trash lying around.

They drove up from Mexico – got their jollies shitting on America – then drove back to their shithole country cursing Americans for being racist.

@Dude and grayscape, It is the same here at the San Mateo County coast, too. Every weekend, they come from inland and leave mounds of trash on the beaches, graffiti everything that doesn’t move.

That is very as news. I was born and raised in the Bay Area. During the early to mid 80′s my frequent escape was Half Moon Bay, and nearby beaches up and down the coast. Not frequented by very many people back then. Certainly not by hordes of inland Hispanics who’s motto seems to be, “We came, We saw, We trashed”.

It wasn’t even like this in the early to mid 90′s when I would go there with my parents on day trips (at that point I had moved away from California. But when I returned for visits I loved to go to Half Moon Bay). It boggles my mind to read about what California has become since that time frame. I can’t even begin to imagine what the San Joaquin Valley must be like any more.

@Kairn, you wouldn’t believe it if you saw it. Mostly, it is still pretty but it is SO full of libtards who encourage the mass influx of illegal aliens by having Spanish immersion classes at the middle school and constantly pushing for “low income housing”. And you know what that means. At the little “town square” in downtown, there is even a misguided libtard who sets up an easel and gives English lessons to the illegal alien men hanging around waiting for work and trashing the bathrooms. We live just a few miles down the road from HMB.

Kairn, The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Half Moon Bay. Did you ever see that damn Great White they used to haul around in that trailer on liquid nitrogen back in the day? San Joaquin is pretty much exactly as you remember it. The Delta is still one of the best places on earth. Don’t buy into the bull shit you are hearing. Look at it his way. How much do you think Jackson, Latrobe, Redding, Redbluff, Chico, Gridley, Live Oak have changed. Nada. hose damn places are Americana and Salt of the Earth. You come back for a visit let me know, me and Mrs. Bad will meet ya.

An honest to goodness great white shark in a trailer? Seriously? Never heard or saw such a thing. Lordy, lordy.

OMG, the Delta. The wackiest boating/water ski trips we ever took were on the Delta. Cabin cruisers and their ginormous wakes!!!!! Single skiing thru these ginormous wakes was poop inducing! You didn’t dare screw up and fall. It was just me, a handle attached to a skinny rope that was embedded into a monstrous wall of water. Our boat having completely disappeared on the other side of the wave. Honestly, I don’t know how I survived that.

I know how much the central San Joaquin Valley has changed. I utilized Google Maps street view to visit the town where my grandparents lived and their house. It is not the same. All of the shops up the road from their house had signage almost exclusively in Spanish.

Even doing Google street view around my own home own in the Bay Area is disappointingly revealing. One part of town is now almost exclusively muslim. Who would have ever dreamed that eventuality? I sure didn’t.

A ride on a 78mph Bass Blaster would be the highlight of my life! However, I have retired the whole water skiing gig. Sure, if hubby and I are ever so inclined to get down your way, we’d love to take you up on your offer.

Kairn, O.K. I got a quick, what I think is funny story, about the latest bast blaster. Back when we were rolling in the deep, we used to do a 10 day house boat trip on Shasta at the 4th of July every year. Well Mrs Bad has always claimed she cant breath at speed in the Champion 206. Anyway, last day, headed back to the dock. The wife’s driving the bass boat. I’m driving the house boat. Clear the cove where we had been moored and see this Bass Boat just getting it down the lake. Tell my youngest, that SOB is on the Pad. Then I realize, that’s my freaked boat. I guess she breaths better when she got hold of the wheel and the trim control.

Now aren’t we 3 sounding like typical Californians? Yakitty yak. Having lived in the cold shoulder of the NW for a few decades, I have to admit I do miss the camaraderie of my fellow native Californians.

Over the years living in the NW, I could always tell who was a visiting Californian or a recent transplant from California. I have never lost my appreciation for the refreshing candor of old school Californians.

Well, they are also more sophisticated with their “I wanna do that too” reflex as noted by Mrs Brad’s cutting loose with the throttle on the Bad (B)ass boat when Mr Brad wasn’t looking. That’s my girl!!!

Kairn, you and conservative cowgirl, know what this place is like. It’s down points have been way over exaggerated. Especially compared to other places. It would be cool if Northern Cali could split from Southern Cali. However prevailing liberal politics will either do us in, or we will learn our lesson and recover before every one else. To many Mexs. Were going down the tubes.

I know California is going down the tubes. I still have family there. Conservatives. They keep me abreast of how bad it is getting from year to year. The state has stuffed itself so full of rules and regulations it is basically constipated. Top that with all the ridiculous taxes I don’t understand how anyone is thriving there any more.

That splitting CA in 2 thing will never happen. I actually think splitting it in 3 would be better.
I remember when the San Fernando Valley tried to split from LA. Impossible due to rampant voter fraud and the libtards LOVE the tax money the valley brought in. Pfft. Maybe next time.

Washington State. Seeing crummy changes here too. In our present city we are seeing disappointing changes that have only come on rather recently and rather suddenly. I’m just beginning to get that itchy feeling it will be time to shove off pretty soon. But I don’t do that until a get a clear message from God about where he wants me to go next. I’m listening, but I’m not hearing Him just yet.

Been by Clear Lake. Never boated there. Was too crowded even during my youth. My favorite lake in Calif is Shaver Lake.

Wouldn’t you be able to use a jet boat on the rivers of Montana and Idaho? What about steelhead fishing?

Once you two leave California I guarantee you’ll get over her. Hold dearly in your hearts the best memories of your youth spent in the best places of California. But the best of California ship sailed a long time ago. I think you have just been living off the fumes.

That old adage is so true: We can never go home again (once we’ve left).

I getcha. Bass Boat is an outboard good on lakes and delta waterways. Propelled by a prop. I’m assuming your boat is a 100% outboard. Bass boats needing all that interior room for fishing. Must admit, I am partial to outboard motors myself. What is the horse power of your motor?

Jet boat, completely different animal. Propelled by water. Jet boats are used on rivers because you need that shallow draft.

I am sorry that you find me offensive. I am sorry that you have formed such an incorrect opinion of me. I am sorry that you completely misunderstood my motivation for writing about that traumatic and very true event. I was sharing MNP. I was testifying to the power and grace of God.

It is very unfortunate that you are such a bitter person that you have chosen to misrepresent who and what I really am on a public forum. When all I hoped for was that I could help you and others believe that God is truly with us all and that sometimes we have no idea the plans and lessons in life that God has planned out for us.

I hope you will have a change of heart MNP. I told the truth. I don’t know how to do any different. Myself, my husband, those 3 boys and all the police officers and emergency personnel who were part of his event knows it really happened. Most importantly God knows it happened. Because He was there that day.

    Happy New Year MNP.
