New Muslims Against Islamists interview: Raquel Evita Saraswati
The latest interview in my “Muslims Against Islamists” series is very eye-opening. It is with Raquel Evita Saraswati, a Muslim-American women’s right activist.
Here’s an excerpt:
Islamism – a theo-political ideology responsible for the subjugation of women, minorities and Muslim dissidents – does not recognize the value of the individual, and misogyny thrives wherever that is found. Malignant interpretations of religion are often to blame for these abuses, especially when questioning the “divine” is impermissible.
Where Islamism thrives, evil is deemed sacred, and challenging it is a punishable offense. Islamists have no interest in allowing Muslims to have a personal, dynamic relationship with our faith, because when we do, Islamists lose power. One of the methods by which they retain their power is to make women public enemy number one, and to treat their control of our bodies as a divine mandate.

You lost me at “Muslim-American”. Islam is not a race or ethnicity. the proper construction is “American Muslim”. Note which part comes first.
Raquel Evita sounds like she is trying to create her own fantasy Islam. The problem is that real Muslims eventually show up to set her straight.

From ’03 to ’05 I worked with Muslims just north of the Afghan border. Spent my R&Rs touring the Muslim country alone.
There is a differance. That differance seems to be between Arabia were the fanatics are, & Mongolia that was vodka drinking cool

It looks like on her link (www.twitter.com/raquelevita) she says American Muslim, and that the interviewer wrote “Muslim American.”

Muslim-lite or extremist Muslim, it does not matter. The Quran teaches infidels and Muslims with infidel ideologies are to be eliminated.
The ultimate goal is a Islamic totalitarian society for the entire world.
If Ms. Saraswati insists on being Muslim and attempts to make Islam less tyrannical, she is wasting her time.
Ms. Saraswati, like a lot of Muslims don’t want to admit the real objective of Islam, or they don’t really know what’s in the Quran.

Why in the hell is this Raquel Evita Saraswati a Muslim? It seems that the Death Cult does NOT represent what she is so WHY be a part of it?
A Muslim woman being a “women’s right activist” is like an Anti-Jesus Christian.
