My daughter and my wife know how to use guns and get them out if they need to protect themselves — but God help us all if it comes to that.
We are getting dangerously close to a civil war we patriots can’t win — with a Federal government that is out of control both economically and militarily. The Fed’s have much more sophisticated fire power and they have spy satellites and spy networks. Where is our George Washington? I don’t see him. We have no chance with our pea shooters against them, the 2nd amendment will be renewed when states have their own fighter jets and weapons comparable to the Fed.
These silly appeals to the toy guns we are “allowed to buy” is not in the spirit of the 2nd Amendment nor does it help the cause of liberty over tyranny. We need to be twice as smart, twice as vigil as the globalist UN one world collectivists that want to take us over. The gun grabbers are coming. Then what? Then what? What do we do?
I have a bunker, I have a ham radio. I have tons of guns and ammo and a basement full of canned goods. That won’t last long *if* the shit hits the fan and satellites and drones are sniping us out. I’m not convinced that walking around with “Girls just wanna’ have guns” is the message we need to be sending right now.

If I wanted to make money selling shirts I’d make Justin Beiber shirts.
The shirt is 15 bucks. It probably costs Anthem to produce and ship each one about 12, that’s not including their time. It’s hardly motivated by capitalism.
We talk about messaging and a shirt is produced.
We certainly do not need fellow conservatives writing dissertations about how the shirt is actually hurting the cause.
That’s a tough claim to make, and I don’t think the effort in trying to do so is in proportion to what you’d accomplish.
This just seems unnecessarily contrary.

I think you overlook that tens of millions of gun-owning Americans ARE the power in this country. Yes, our military has tanks and drones. But our military also take an oath to protect the Constitution, not the President. I personally know numerous military officers, including retired General officers, who have told me the military will not fight against the American people.
Again, it’s a shirt! With a pro-gun message. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s not advocating sending women into battle. But more and more women are carrying concealed and they like it.

Alpha Maser has always had awesome posts as long as I’ve been here. I am surprised at this reaction. It would be handy to know where you live. Here’s why, this shirt in Texas, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Az, etc,(including northern cali) no big deal. But I can think of places I would not let my wife or daughter wear this shirt. Where’s home?
I am just feeling really really paranoid about the encroachment of the gun grabbers that are popping up everywhere in the wake of the recent massacres. I’m not convinced that most people even know what the Bill of Rights is anymore or what T2ndA is or what it was for in its original interpretation.
The Colt 45 was called a Peacemaker in its day. I don’t have Patriot missiles, Jets, Tanks, SAMs, ECM, radar or any realistic way to protect my self from the Fed’s oppression or spying these days. I don’t have a Peacemaker. The types of weapons that “We the People” are “allowed to own” is presently highly restrictive already and pretty much insufficient to stop Federal tyranny.

The gun-grabbers and their useful idiots ignore that the defensive use of guns happens all the time. It’s not reported by the media nor by the police because generally a young woman only needs to reveal to her potential agressor that she is armed, for the incipient crime to be prevented on the spot, no shot fired.
The presence of a gun acts as a deterrent ; in virtually every case the gun doesn’t have to be fired; the rule is that the mere possession of the gun is enough; only exceptionnaly is the defendent required to shoot.
The Second Amendment is not only about armed militia; it is mostly about its deterrent value, to deter the government from abusing the people.

Call me really old fashioned. I think men were built to defend woman, and their children. Woman should know how to use guns, and if they like hunting that’s great. The 2nd amendment is much more serious than self protection and hunting.
T2A is about stopping tyranny by fighting fire with fire. That gets messy, bloody and ugly fast. I’m willing to go there if I have to. Are you? Will you take your woman with you?

It’s not about capitalism.
If I could afford to give away the shirts I would.
It’s about the message.
If I wanted to make money selling shirts I’d make Justin Beiber shirts.
The shirt is 15 bucks. It probably costs Anthem to produce and ship each one about 12, that’s not including their time. It’s hardly motivated by capitalism.
We talk about messaging and a shirt is produced.
We certainly do not need fellow conservatives writing dissertations about how the shirt is actually hurting the cause.
That’s a tough claim to make, and I don’t think the effort in trying to do so is in proportion to what you’d accomplish.
This just seems unnecessarily contrary.

Alpha, it’s a shirt! If you don’t like the message, don’t buy it. I also sell shirts through Anthem and have had women tell me they want t shirts with pro-gun messages.
I think you overlook that tens of millions of gun-owning Americans ARE the power in this country. Yes, our military has tanks and drones. But our military also take an oath to protect the Constitution, not the President. I personally know numerous military officers, including retired General officers, who have told me the military will not fight against the American people.
Again, it’s a shirt! With a pro-gun message. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s not advocating sending women into battle. But more and more women are carrying concealed and they like it.
I agree with Fur. Your comments would be better served on another post.

Here’s why, this shirt in Texas, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Az, etc,(including northern cali) no big deal. But I can think of places I would not let my wife or daughter wear this shirt. Where’s home?

I am just feeling really really paranoid about the encroachment of the gun grabbers that are popping up everywhere in the wake of the recent massacres. I’m not convinced that most people even know what the Bill of Rights is anymore or what T2ndA is or what it was for in its original interpretation.
The Colt 45 was called a Peacemaker in its day. I don’t have Patriot missiles, Jets, Tanks, SAMs, ECM, radar or any realistic way to protect my self from the Fed’s oppression or spying these days. I don’t have a Peacemaker. The types of weapons that “We the People” are “allowed to own” is presently highly restrictive already and pretty much insufficient to stop Federal tyranny.
Forgive me for spilling my personal dementia and over-reaction on this blog.
Yes, everybody should be able to defend themselves from creeps but more importantly we need to be a check on Federal tyranny.

Alpha Maser, Read what AWD wrote about our military turning against us. I can confirm this. I deal with military and x military daily. Not gonna happen. However when benign government agencies start arming themselves, my ears perk up. But, I’ll fight that battle. Shit local law enforcements going to draw the line quick, why? Most are x military.

The gun-grabbers and their useful idiots ignore that the defensive use of guns happens all the time. It’s not reported by the media nor by the police because generally a young woman only needs to reveal to her potential agressor that she is armed, for the incipient crime to be prevented on the spot, no shot fired.
The presence of a gun acts as a deterrent ; in virtually every case the gun doesn’t have to be fired; the rule is that the mere possession of the gun is enough; only exceptionnaly is the defendent required to shoot.
The Second Amendment is not only about armed militia; it is mostly about its deterrent value, to deter the government from abusing the people.
