What the hell, it’s after midnight:

A cowboy-themed young ventriloquist is touring the clubs and one night he’s doing a show in a small club hosting a NBC News party. With his six-shooter clad dummy on his knee, the ventriloquist and his dummy start making media bias jokes, when David Gregory stands up, shouting:

”I’ve heard enough of your stupid right wing jokes! What makes you think you can stereotype journalists that way? It’s people like you, with their guns and their bibles, who keep people ignorant, foster violence and murder! You and your kind continue to perpetuate discrimination and hate not only against blacks and women, but teachers and unions! — All in the name of humor!”

Embarrassed, the ventriloquist begins to apologize, when Gregory yells, ”You stay out of this, asshole! I’m talking to that jerk on your knee!”

Okay, call me a prude, but I don’t like comedians who feel it necessary to say fuck or fucking every sixteen seconds. Yes, a well placed fuck can have significant impact, however, if it is used to frequently it loses its punch. Adam Carolla probably had some valid points, but I missed them. They were lost in the weeds of fuck.

    Quote :

“The conclusions seem inescapable that in certain circles a tendency has arisen to fear people who fear government. Government, as the Father of Our Country put it so well, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. People who understand history, especially the history of government, do well to fear it. For a people to express openly their fear of those of us who are afraid of tyranny is alarming. Fear of the state is in no sense subversive. It is, to the contrary, the healthiest political philosophy for a free people.”

    Copy this:

“The first step must be to recognize ourselves as treaty people who are constituted as such by our relationship to the indigenous people of the land we currently occupy. This relationship is the material and historical condition of our lives. We would not be here without it.”

You can’t claim that we should respect treaties made with the Native Americans, because American Natives had no concept of rights and thus no respect for rights when they made those treaties.

The Native Americans didn’t have any rights to the land and there was no reason for anyone to grant them rights which they had not conceived and were not using anyway.

Your premises are highly aggressive and are morally wrong.

The American Natives did not protect property rights and individual rights. If a group of tribeswomen and tribesmen are the slaves of their tribal chief, then why should we respect the “rights” that they don’t have or don’t respect?

What is it Chief Theresa is fighting for? Why is she opposing white men on the American continent?

Is she fighting to continue a primitive existence? Is she fighting for the “right” to keep part of the American land untouched, unused — not even as property? Doesn’t she just want to keep the white men out so that she and her tribe will live practically a nomadic, proto-tribal lifestyle?

The white man did not conquer the American continent; he brought the element of civilization; and that is why the white men had the right to take over the American continent.

The American Natives had no right to a land merely because they were born here and then lived a nomadic lifestyle. If you object to that, then you are probably a racist, because it implies that you believe that certain men are entitled to something simply because of their race. You seem to believe that if someone is born on a land and doesn’t know what to do with it, he still has a right of property to it. This is pure racism, and it is false: He does not have any property right to it. The American Natives did not have any concept of property or property rights anyway. They did not have a settled society; they had a nomadic tribal way of life. They didn’t have any “right” to the land, and there was no reason for anyone to grant them rights that they had not conceived of, and were not using.

And paste it as a comment on that blog, here:
