Obama Knows What Ordinary Folks Want
At a press conference following his much ballyhooed fiscal cliff photo op with Republican and Democratic leaders, this afternoon, Obama took up for “ordinary folks” and trashed Congress for not doing their job.
Because nobody knows more about what we ordinary folks want than this former boyscout choom gang member andentrepreneur community organizer from Middle America Indonesia/Hawaii/Chicago, right?
“Ordinary folks, they do their jobs. They meet deadlines. They sit down and discuss things and then things happen. It there are disagreements they sort through the disagreements. The notion that our elected leadership can’t do the same thing is mind-boggling to them. It needs to stop. So I’m modestly optimistic that an agreement can be achieved. Nobody’s going to get 100% of what they want. But let’s make sure that middle class families and the American economy and in fact the world economy aren’t adversely impacted because people can’t do their jobs.“
I should mention that Obama cut his Hawaiian golf vacation short (costing ordinary folks who pay taxes an extra $100,000-$200,00 in transportation costs) so he could meet with intransigent Republican leaders and push them to agree to the “Obama middle class tax cuts” (Obama’s a big tax cutter, you know) because he cares for us folks so deeply.
Obama reportedly told John Boehner that he will use his inaugural address, and State of the Union to blame the GOP if we go over the cliff – because he has such a connection with ordinary folks all across the nation, he knows we will believe anything he says.
I can tell you another thing a lot of ordinary folks are discussing as they meet their deadlines and do their jobs and that’s the$1 trillion in Obamacare job-killing tax hikes that are hitting on Jan. 1.
On January 1, regardless of the outcome of fiscal cliff negotiations, Americans will be hit with a $1 trillion Obamacare tax hike.Obamacare contains twenty new or higher taxes. Five of the taxes hit for the first time on January 1. In total, for the years 2013-2022, Americans face a net $1 trillion tax hike for the years 2013-2022, according to theCongressional Budget Office.

Ordinary folks are the people who are in his way. Ordinary folks are the ones who own “military-style” weapons. Ordinary folks are the ones who took to the voting booths in 2010 to punish him for pushing Obamacare on us. Ordinary folks are the ones whose income is going down down down while he raises the pay of Federal Workers. Ordinary folks are the ones who pay the taxes to sustain those Federal Workers’ wages. Kim Il Sung also knew what ordinary folk wanted, as did his son, Kim Jong-il, and now his son, Kim Jong-un follows in the great understanding of what ordinary folk want.
North Korea stands as an exemplary example of a nation whose dear leaders knew/know what the ordinary folk want.

@Diann – I liked what you said and gave you a TU, but I believe that your definition of “ordinary folks” was not who Obumphuk considers “his” ordinary people. And thus, they are not who he was appealing to.
Obumphuk’s ordinary people are the 51% low-information voters – the ONLY ones that he cares about, and the only ones that he has to baffle with his bullshit (quite easily, I might add).
