Obama Orders Raise for Biden, Members of Congress, Federal Workers
President Barack Obama issued an executive order to end the pay freeze on federal employees, in effect giving some federal workers a raise. One federal worker now to receive a pay increase is Vice President Joe Biden.
According to disclosure forms, Biden made a cool $225,521 last year. After the pay increase, he’ll now make $231,900 per year.
Members of Congress, from the House and Senate, also will receive a little bump, as their annual salary will go from $174,000 to 174,900. Leadership in Congress, including the speaker of the House, will likewise get an increase.

Well Biden getting a $6000 raise means that his favorite charities will now get an extra 6-7 dollars more a year too.

Every Republican member of the House of Representatives and the Senate should turn down this raise on principle. Throw it back in Barry’s and the democraps faces and let them own it. Let’s see just how many democraps would be willing to stand on principle and do the same.

There are very few things in life that make my blood boil, but let me tell you this has to be chief among them.
My income dropped over five thousand dollars this year working at the same place I’ve been working for nearly ten years. As a matter of fact, two years ago, I got a promotion, but instead of being able to give me the corresponding pay increase, this year, they cut my overtime for cost purposes and I lost five grand in income. And I am very, VERY good at my job.
And these fuckers get a raise?
God help me, I want to fucking strangle someone.

While this list shows some high paid individuals, it is a drop in the bucket compared to REAL federal workers as they exist in aggregation.

like work for public sector vs private sector the public sector ALWAYS makes more. I think this raise is an insult to every private sector American working or not. IMO it is past time for our “representation” to be getting what they get now, screw the raise, & start working for US pro bono til they figure out how to get US out of this fiscal crisis they created. since holding elected office their personal portfolios have increased by 135%. but while they party on, I guess US fuckers can eat cake, a shit cake.
