Still the greatest story ever told.
I posting a link to the song “Kyrie Eleison” sung by Danny Figgen of the Seattle Church of Christ. Danny is a gift from God and guess who gets to listen to him at Church most any Sunday? He is a talented musician with a truly awesome voice. This video doesn’t do him justice. This past Sunday he performed solo at the piano, singing “O Holy Night” that left dear husband and I in a puddle (with only one thin kleenex between us). If the church posts the Christmas candlelight service music, I’ll be sure to provide a link.
Merry Christmas to everyone at IOTW. God bless us, everyone.

Still getting up before dawn to see if Santa came to our house, so I thought that I would wish BFH, his crew and all of the iOTW faithful a very merry Christmas before I get wrapped up in the day’s activities!

Here’s something that puzzles me. Satan was a good guy, in the Book of Job; I mean: he was amongst the ‘sons of God,’ conferring with the LORD. Sure he acted like a prosecutor, accusing Job. But he was listening and obeying God.
My theory is that he declared war after Abram passed the test (was willing to sacrifice Isaac), when God made His Eternal Covenant with Israel.
Later, the LORD took flesh and bood, and made a Covenant with all the rest of mankind.
Satan knew he had lost the war; and in his burning rage, he invented islam.
Most muslims don’t know why they hate the Jewish People and Christianity; but satan knows very well…
What puzzles me is that satan is often portrrayed as a fallen angel; some say he fell before the the Fall of Man from the Garden of Eden. But if that’s the case, how come he was amongst the obedient ‘sons of God’ in the Book of Job?
My question: could he have fell right after the Covenant between God and Israel, as per a burning rage?

For to us a child is born,to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
God’s word gives me hope.
Merry Christmas everyone.
