    Well, at least that Russian had a pot to pee in, and a window to throw it out.

    Many years ago, in a science book for children, I read that boiling water freezes more quickly than cool water. I found that hard to believe, so I conducted an experiment in the family deep-freeze.

    Coldest winter in 75 years, so far, in Russia. Widespread -50s and -60s that just aren’t moderating.
