I’m thinking that Piers doesn’t want to go back to England for awhile because from what I understand, he’s still not out from under the phone hacking scandal he’s been implicated in. It’s a whole lot easier to get called in front of an ongoing inquiry if you’re present in the country then if you’re across the pond and can plead inconvenience.
