WHAT WOMEN WANT (MONEY) – WHAT MEN WANT (BOOBS)
AWD ran across some woman-y type article today (not that I read woman-y pages..it was on Instapundit, I swear!) about what women want at various stages of their lives. Reader’s Digest version: EVERYTHING! But hell, we already knew that.
As we’ve discussed on this page several damn times, American women are purt near impossible! Most of them spend their lives looking for the man that doesn’t exist. Rich, but doesn’t work too much. Perfect body, but doesn’t spend too much time in the gym. Single, but with no kids. Perfect credit, even though his ex ran up all the credit cards on her way out. Likes Meryl Streep movies and long, slow walks in the rain but isn’t a homo.
A study by Match.com shows there is only one thing women want from men in every stage of their lives….MONEY! I know, I know…what a big @#&*ing surprise there!
Here’s the report with AWD’s expert commentary in parenthesis:
Age 18-24:
Women’s main concern in their late teens and early twenties is that their partner gets along with their friends. “47 percent said they would look for a relationship with someone their friends would approve of.” (100% of guys hate 100% of her giggly, pretentious friends!)
“This is a very relationally social time in a female’s life. I refer to it as the ‘fit into me’ (yeah, baby!) stage. Women want men who will fit in to their lives,” Dr. Karen Ruskin, a licensed marriage and family psychotherapist, told Yahoo! Shine. “A key way to fit in is to be viewed positively by one’s social network, and to have shared interests. It is less about future and more about what feels good right now.” (and what feels good at that age is wearing her butt for a hat!)
Also, women this age are far more likely to date a man in better physical shape than them, but shared tastes in “books, music, and film,” are extremely important. (Don’t you just love the Lady Ga Ga CD?)
Age 25-34:
At this stage in their lives most women are focused on their careers, but physical attraction and sexual compatibility are most important. They also consider a man’s level of “ambition” to be important. Two-thirds of surveyed in this age group say this is a key trait. (I want a super model who makes a ton of money to marry so I can sit home and talk on Face Book with my friends all day!)
“This is the ‘can you add value or will you take-eth away’ stage. Women are starting to think about having kids someday and they certainly do not want a man who is mooching (women don’t want Democrats?) off of them,” Dr. Ruskin explains. “They want someone who can be a partner with them so that their children can have the life they want their children to have, and so that they can have the lives they want to have.” (I want a McMansion and I want a BMW and I want fancy jewelry and I want the ubiquitous Louis Vuitton handbag and I want vacation homes and I want boats and I just want EVERYTHING! And I want it RIGHT NOW!)

You guys like to mock me for my low standards in women physically (actually I love it…)
Sure I like looking at smoking hot women like any non-homo….but what it really boils down to for me is a woman I enjoy being with and likes me. And likes to bang. And my wife is all that…and pretty hot too.
