A quarter of a century ago, a good and great man was slandered to maintain liberal judicial power. It was Vice President Joe Biden, who as a senator, led the injustices committed against Judge Robert Bork.

The Moron Has Been Rewarded Ever Since His Successful Attacks Against Bork

The Wednesday morning death of Bork, Ronald Reagan’s failed 1987 Supreme Court nominee, should make us think how much freer and better this country would be if Bork’s intellectual power and constitutional integrity had been present within the justices’ deliberations over the past 25 years.

Had Reagan nominated Bork to replace retiring Chief Justice Warren Burger in 1986, when Republicans enjoyed a 53-47 majority in the Senate, as many advised him to do, things might have gone differently. Instead, Bork faced a 55-45 Democratic majority the next year.

One thing to consider. Had Bork been Approved. Obama would be nominating another justice.

BFH Things are changing too fast for me, a working stiff, on IOTW. I already commented on the drunkard Kennedy and slow joe Biden, on their villification of Robert Bork. I made my comment, I went to work, and when I returned it was off the page. Forfucksakemangivemeafuckingbreak. The Bork blog deserves at least 72 hours. Now you have whiffle Biden back on camera. What more can I say? Biden is a moron? whoda known?

Well, Biden did make him a verb (and an adjective)…I’m not sure that is better than being a proper noun, but being BORKED will live forever!

    borked

The term “Borked” or “Borking” originated with conservative talk show hosts (primarily Rush Limbaugh) to describe someone who is denied something earned simply because they either aren’t politically correct enough or aren’t trusted – usually without cause. The usage is derived from Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork who though eminently qualified was deemed too “conservative” to serve as a Supreme Court judge.

Harriet Meyers was “borked” by distrustful conservatives. NARAL “borks” any candidate that isn’t “pro-choice”. Radio stations around the country are “borking” the Dixie Chicks.

Menderman;\: BORKED> “The systematic villification of a person by the media and political rivals.”
They borked Romney, Ryan, Palin, and Newt.
They will BORK every other decent American that runs for office as a Republican.

    Menderman. Buddy. Here’s another: Nifonged.
NIFONGED: “Being falsely accused for the sole purpose of getting support from Blacks and Liberals.”
Usually used by scumbag liberal lawyers. Say the wrong word and “I’ll NIFONG you”
Usually falls in with the Race card.
