This is Disturbing – Cops Do “Cavity” Search on 2 Women for LITTERING
I think this cop needs a cavity search, with someone’s boot.
He pulls the ol “I smell marijuana” in the car, so now you’re going to be humiliated on the roadside.
Also, I did not see that policewoman change gloves. After she fingered one of the girls she transferred whatever the first girl had to the second girl. AND, she checked the backdoor FIRST! These are imbeciles.
I would sue these shitheads for everything I could get. This is not what I want the police doing. The cop said on the radio to the other cop that the women were “acting strange.” I thought they sounded perfectly lucid. I think the cop is strange. I think he’s sick. He probably smelled the glove. (I’ve finally figured out what the Spinal Tap Album title meant.)

UPDATE: The female officer has been suspended. What about the jerk that requested she do the search?

These are not the same police I remember being told about when I was growing up in the 1970′s.
Who else remembers hearing “The policeman is your friend”?
Cops, like the criminals they supposedly protect us against, act as if they have no fear and can act with against us with impunity.
Sadly, the police are no-longer our friends.

Just an update for you all since this happened in my area.
The Texas DPS is being sued right now by these ladies. I was listening to an interview with one of the attorney’s for the ladies on the way home. This is absolutely insane.
I guess I would be in jail because I would be actively resisting ANYONE sticking their finger up my butt on the side of the road. Much less if I were a woman getting my privates probed as well.
Also, you are correct, the female office NEVER EVER CHANGED HER GLOVE as she probed these women BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!!
There is NO EXCUSE for this. I normally shrug off most complaints about cops, but this one is beyond belief.

So he got a whiff of marijuana. Did he give them a sobriety test to determine if they were driving under the influence? I didn’t see that. I understand that if he smells marijuana, that is probable cause to search the vehicle. But the driver was lucid and very amenable to what the officer asked. She certainly didn’t SOUND stoned. And trust me, I’ve seen my share of stoned dopers. At what point does an officer determine that the occupants have marijuana on them?
Something is wrong with this. Not completely, because they did have PC to search the vehicle. But without more information, I’m just guessing here.

It occurs to me that there are probably a LOT of cases where a cop CLAIMS to smell marijuana so they have an excuse to go on a fishing expedition.

This seems more strange than anything. The women were brought over to the police cruiser to be searched, with the officer knowing and intending that it would be recorded on the dash cam. Were these just stupid cops who didn’t know any better, or is there some sort of underlying policy, reason or protocol involved here that people don’t know about?
If I were a police officer and wanted to just abuse someone, I wouldn’t walk a suspect over and have my actions recorded on an official video record. This wasn’t a Rodney King situation where a private citizen videotaped questionable police activity – these were cops following protocol and taping the search with their own equipment.
