    I’ve driven many Eastern European countries several times and stuff like this happens hourly. The absolute worse is Albania where most of the cars are black market Mercedes and they drive like maniacs. There are many roadside memorials to the victims of fatal accidents.

    @old_oaks — As I understand it, they have dashcams to prove that they didn’t cause the accident. Which says something for the driving conditions there.

    Someone commented on a similar thread that insurance fraud in Russia is so rampant that claims are denied unless you have video proof. Hence, everyone has a dash cam.

    My favs had the horse. It was in the cross walk so did have the right away. The other was the crash where the 2 guys in the car grab their stuff and walk away. Like they were just gonna cut their loses and abandon the car.

    I’ve talked to guys at motorcycle rallies who have ridden across eastern Russia. They were repeatedly forced off the road. Guy with the biggest vehicle has the right of way. I’m not dying to see anyplace new.

    otoh the Aussies take road rage to a new level. This guy need a second amendment
