Surprise! 40% Of Democrats Own Guns
If Democrats really want to go down this road, perhaps they should practice what they preach. In 2011, Gallup did a survey of self-reported gun ownership in the U.S. What did they find?
Forty-seven percent of American adults currently report that they have a gun in their home or elsewhere on their property. This is up from 41% a year ago and is the highest Gallup has recorded since 1993, albeit marginally above the 44% and 45% highs seen during that period
Republicans (including independents who lean Republican) are more likely than Democrats (including Democratic leaners) to say they have a gun in their household: 55% to 40%. While sizable, this partisan gap is narrower than that seen in recent years, as Democrats’ self-reported gun ownership spiked to 40% this year.

Feinstein along with the communist nation of China called for a ban on “assault” weapons and magazines over ten rounds.
Won’t solve the problem of demonic crazies running amok and slaughtering innocents. But civilian disarmament sure makes for a docile collective.
That is its purpose.

All this garbage about gun control is nothing but partisan showboating by the left. If they really wanted to end these mass murders then they should have the media adopt the same stance as the NFL and MLB uses when some fame seeking idiot runs out onto the field, they turn the cameras away and don’t give the idiot any attention. Think about it, the media has been all over this to the point that we know the shooters last six bowel movements and that is what the shooter wants… to be famous, a blaze of glory, Thelma and Louise. I’m not big on any kind of govermment regulations but the media is as much or as more responsible than any gun. I would gladly sacrifice the freedom of corrupt press as opposed to giving up any of my 2nd Amendment rights.

(BTW, reports are saying that he used semi-automatic pistols at the school, not ‘assault weapons’. But let’s not get facts in the way of an assault on freedom.)
