There’s no need to shoot at the NRA meeting, they’re safe from this, I agree.

With rights come responsibilities, so there’s no need to ban assault weapons. We just need a guard with a firearm posted in each public place, enough within sight of each other to cover all of the area. We should watch our budget though, so we don’t have enough military or police for this. The NRA members should do that instead.

I am SO tired of people saying we need gun control. If someone goes out and purposely hits and kills a bunch of people with there car is everyone going to want to ban cars? NO. if people want to kill they WILL kill. be it through guns, knives, (like that guy in china that slashed up 22 kids the same day as the CT murders) bombs, cars or even baseball bats! banning something will not make it go away! Drugs are illegal and there readily available more then guns are! Look at how prohibition turned out! booze was illegal but people still did it! Hate sometimes begets hate unfortunately. I think people are frustrated and see that the NRA are partially responsible for the proliferation of assault rifles in the US. The NRA is going to be seen as an association that is partly responsible for the deaths caused by the irresponsible use of the weapons you so lovingly cherish. I know,”Guns don’t kill people. People kill people.” There is the potential that, people with guns that are designed to kill a lot of people, kill a lot of people. Help reduce that potential!

Some people would think that a person that uses a weapon designed for war to massacre a bunch of kids and their teachers would be the embodiment of hate. Proponents of said weapons would in this case be the recipients of hate from pissed off citizens that are disgusted at the way these guns are continually being used to hurt innocents. Threatening violence with violence is wrong and not going to be productive. I don’t condone their threats, but I can understand their frustration with what they see as the organization that is standing in their way to their having a safer community without weapons of massive casualties on their streets.

You are coming acoss here as lukewarm. You say you don’t condone their murderous language, but you also have not vociferously condemned it. And I fail to see the tie-in that anyone who is a member of the NRA has to do with any shooting in the US. With this logic, why not call for the murder of all the employees who work for gun manufacturers? Or has the anti-gun crowd simply not gotten on that particular band wagon yet?

The persons showcased above in those Twitter posts scare me far more than any American member of the NRA. They have openly admitted they want to commit murder! Their threats should be taken seriously. They should be arrested.

If you disagree with my assessment, then you have basically become an aider and abettor to their murderous desires.
