‘SHUT UP!’. CAVUTO CORNERS DEM REP
On Thursday’s “Your World,” Neil Cavuto repeatedly pressed Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson for specifics on what Democrats would be willing to cut as part of a budget agreement. For her part, the Texas congresswoman insisted on focusing on “revenue generation.”
“No, you told me things you’d do to raise taxes. That’s what you told me. Credits, allowances, that sort of stuff. That’s what you told me,” Cavuto said.
“You’ve got to talk about revenue generation,” the congresswoman replied.
“I know that, but it’s 100 percent of what you’re talking about, congresswoman,” said Cavuto.
“It is not 100 percent of what I’m talking about. If you’d shut up for just a second, I would try,” she responded.
Cavuto shot back: “You got to tell me one thing you’d cut. I beg you congresswoman, one thing you would say, I would cut this. What would it be?”
Rep. Johnson thought for a moment and responded: “You.”
A pause.
“You don’t know, do you?” asked Cavuto.
“Well, yes I do know, but I have to have time to explain it. I can’t tell you I’m going to walk in and cut this and cut that. First of all, it has to have be some type of dialogue. We have not had that,” she said.

Thank God, I have a normal congresswoman in Cathy McMorris Rogers. We don’t have many slugs in this part of Wash. state but we do have mushrooms and even a mushroom is smarter than this dumb broad.

Dear Mrs. Johnson, the math/logic challenged congress critter.
“Revenue generation” has no hope whatsoever of solving the spending problem.
Even if all “loopholes” are removed, and all income over $100,000 is taxed at 100% next year, it would not quite cover the projected spending.
The following year would be even worse than the situation we are in now, because no sane person would put forth the effort to earn more than $100,000….

Understand something. Even if they were white the outcome would be the same. These people (up here in the great white north they’re called backbenchers because they sit in back of the House of Commons and have nothing to to do except vote) have been given their marching orders to go on TV, talk tax increases avoid at all costs any talk about spending cuts and to attack the host if he/she tries to get to the issue. Hell, I’ll say it they are trained monkey’s, black and white, male and female. If they are a black woman so much the better because if it gets hot they’ll through the race card followed by the gender card. Cavuto should have kept hammering on the “you don’t know, do you” theme until she walked off the set.
