    Reading comprehension is SUPER TOUGH. Apparently where she is on the planet there is not one single stinking dictionary ANYWHERE to be found or else she would know what ‘co-signer’ meant, and she could have read the section called ‘terms’, commonly found in ANY contract or loan which would have defined what signing/co-signing meant. I blame the department of education, they should pay for this grave injustice, and by ‘they’, I mean any member of a teachers union.

    You are responsible for your debt, including cosigned debt,even if you’re dead. That’s both morally and legally. Of course silly assumes a lifetime of work leaves you with some assets.

    The reason for the “hounding” to pay the bill is because it is the gubbermint that the mone is owed to ans the gubbermint (city, state, or federal) can and will take everything you have AND put you in jail for non-payment, EVERYONE knows this!

    What I expect to see shortly from our communist musil in chief is to grant by “executive order” the same powers to banks & corporations.

    That way anyone can put you into the “prisoner for profit” US justice system and FORCE you to work in prison-run workshops for pennies a day, and repay your debt over the next thousand years or so and then let you “walk” out of jail once you have paid back your bad debt PLUS interest, court fees, prison fees, extra-tax fees, and any other fees, fines, or taxes, that they can add on to the bill so they can “extend” your stay in FEMA central for as long as possible.

    Let’s change the laws of banking just for you lady. Let’s call the bank “racist”. Let’s determine who pays their debts based on how sorry we feel for them. Let’s drum up some stupid legal case that makes cosigning obligation free. That way, nobody will be able to establish credit ever unless they don’t need it at all in the first place.
