A national dialogue committee said a referendum on a disputed draft constitution will be held on schedule, but President Mohammed Morsi has agreed to rescind the near-absolute power he had granted himself. The statement came after a meeting that was boycotted by the main opposition leaders who are calling for the Dec. 15 vote to be canceled.

Meh. Next Saturday the Egyptian Constitution will make sharia the law of the land and Morsi will have the Moslem Brotherhood’s backing to do whatever he wants. What’s a few days in the big scheme?

I’m wondering if the working public will, after a year or two of ObamaTax, be up in arms about the crappy nature of the economy and their specific jobs or careers. Because a lot of people are going to lose full time status which means they lose benefits too.
At some point, people are going to go to jail. And that is when the fit is going to hit the shan because the press will try to spin it as a failure to pay income taxes but there will be a hue and cry to report the truth, which is they were put in jail because they didn’t have healthcare.
Personally, I don’t see how this law can remain for more than 5 years. It is so poorly written and not understood that there will be no consistency in the application of enforcement. And just wait until a black liberal goes to jail for no healthcare. That will be the end of ObamaTax.
