FLUSH HIM: We Only Need 16 Votes to Depose Boehner
Great idea from Ned Ryun:
While the caucus has already voted in support of John Boehner as speaker of the 113th Congress, the final floor vote doesn’t happen until early January.
Everyone thinks it’s a fairytale, but the Conservative Movement is capable of firing Boehner with just 16 votes.
The House rules demand that a Speaker receive a majority—218 votes—to be elected speaker. If no nominee for speaker receives 218, the House remains speakerless—as it did during parts of the Civil War.
If 16 House Republicans were to abstain from voting for Speaker, Boehner would only receive 217 votes.
Once we depose Boehner and cause a firestorm, the Republican caucus will get the memo: Pick someone else! These 16 Republicans only need to hold out until the caucus chooses a new leader.

As much as I’d love to see Madam Defarge’s head explode if her Dem colleagues voted for Orange John, the fact is they would vote to keep Dear Leader’s favorite punching bag in place if they can’t put Botox Barbie back in as Speaker.

Yeah, good luck with that.
I am now taking bets that he will not be removed.
Any takers?

Just think of the message removing Boner would send to the rest of the miscreants in D.C., esp. the TEA Party folks who might be thinking of going over to the Dark Side.

“My only fear about this idea is that House Democrats will join with the RINO establishment to keep the Weeper Speaker in power.”
Just as Dick Lugar is (but will be “was”, but Donnelly will take his place) Obama’s fav Senate Rhino, is Boehner.

(Not much) O/T: Sen. Jim DeMint to resign.
Rep. Tim Scott, a conservative in the Allen West mold, may take his place, becoming the only black US Senator.

OK heres some ideas
1) Boehner replacing conservatives with The Establishment did NOT gain him friends.
2) The Tea Party reacted by contacting thier reps
3) Gov Palin brought attention to this
Two questions
1) Can the Kommiecrats vote for the Speaker?
2) Was the elction of 7/11 for Speaker overturnable?
I’m a bit optomstic about this

Boner has been Obama’s ONLY republican golf guest.
He’s Obama’s Agent Orange against Conservatives.

Allen West is not a conservative. He just pretends he is to rake in money. Look at his actual record.

IF, and I mean IF, Boehner were removed, what kind of lily-livered pantywaist are we going to be saddled with? Boehner isn’t much, and certainly not a Conservative, but… We may be stuck with a “Devil we know…”
God protect this once great nation.

Abraham couldn’t fine 10 righteous souls in Sodom and Gomorrah; how are the conservatives gonna find sixteen in the House??
