Detroit councilwoman to Obama: We voted for you, now bail us out
DETROIT (WJBK) — The city of Detroit faces a major financial crisis and one member of city council thinks President Barack Obama should step in and help.
City Council member JoAnn Watson said Tuesday the citizens support of Obama in last month’s election was enough reason for the president to bailout the struggling the city. (Click the video player to listen)
“Our people in an overwhelming way supported the re-election of this president and there ought to be a quid pro quo and you ought to exercise leadership on that,” said Watson. “Of course, not just that, but why not?”
Nearly 75 percent of Wayne County voters pulled the lever for Obama in November.
“After the election of Jimmy Carter, the honorable Coleman Alexander Young, he went to Washington, D.C. and came home with some bacon,” said Watson. “That’s what you do.”

Maybe you haven’t been keeping up with current affairs. Canada has been reversing the long road of liberalism since 2006 with Stephen Harper. He has a strong conservative majority. Furthermore, he is systematically reversing the damage caused by almost 70 years of liberal rule.
I for one, and there are so many other like minded conservatives here who wish to see the liberals in this country purged. So tell you what, keep your garbage and take care of it on your end. we have enough with quebec, dodge drafters and the liberals coming up here for the last 50 years.

That’s the problem with the majority in this country. They vote according to whichever candidate is promising to steal money the most money from YOU and give it to THEM. They want to be the receivers of your stolen goods.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, which is located in Washtenaw county, on the west side border of Wayne county. The state should allow Detroit to annex Washtenaw county, especially Ann Arbor. This way we can see all the lefties, progtards, Tri-Cities area students at the U of M, the residents of Ypsilanti, the hippies, yippies and flippies get what they deserve from the nice people in Detroit.
There, after cleaningout my subconscious now I can explain some things to you. One, Coleman YOung’s middle name is Arthur, not Alexander. Two, Detroit is run by the most obnoxious people in the world. Just wait until they have to get into a fight with the muslims in Dearborn.
Remember to set your DVD’s etc. to record the action on C-SPAN. Heh heh heh heh.
