Sesame Street’s ‘Maria’ bashes Israel on Twitter
Sonia Manzano, who plays Maria on Sesame Street, has been bashing Israel on her Twitter feed (Hat Tip: Jack W).
The actress sent out two pro-Palestinian messages relating to the latest unrest in the Middle East, first calling Israel bullies and then comparing the Jewish state to early American settlers who wiped out Native Americans.
Israelis retaliate the simple recognition of Palestinians by UN by deciding to build 3,000 more settlements. Bullies!
Why do Israelis need to be “recognized” by Palestinians. Did Native Americans need to “recognize” their tormentors?
It’s ‘apartments’ (actually housing units) – not ‘settlements.’ But I guess you can’t really expect a moron to know how to tell the difference.

I get so sick of the whining about early America abusing the Natives. What if there was no America? Would the rest of the world have just decided to leave them alone forever? Would the Imperial Japan of 100 years later have treated them better? Would the Emperor have let them have casinos and reservations and gov’t bennies?
The Native Americans were living on a very desirable piece of land, and some advanced culture would have invaded and conquered them. They were lucky it was America.
I know this comment will piss a lot of people off, but tell me where I’m wrong.

You mean the other American Indian tribes?
Because when the European settlers moved in, many tribes of the Plains Indians were quite happy they did because the Lakota Souix were very war-like and would rape and pillage and kill and enslave members of the other tribes around them. The settlers left the other tribes alone and the Souix tried to battle with the settlers and lost. The other tribes were thankful for the whites defeating the Souix because it meant no more bullying from the Souix.
Hey, Ms. Manzano! Read a history book. Then read one by a real author that tells the real truth about the American Indians. Not your revisionist history about peace, love, loco-weed, unicorns, rainbows, and brotherhood.

She works in a nice, modern, state-of-the-art studio. Lives a decent life with all the amenities and luxury one would expect from career in educational entertainment. Once again, across this nation another ungrateful person won’t acknowledge the truth of over 200 years of invention and progress in all fields of science and technology, in medicine (I’m sure she a has a fine health insurance program), in just about everything else we enjoy in or modern world. Most of this progress came from European and American people with the know-how and hard work and perseverance. It certainly didn’t come from Mexico! Wonder how her sentiments would be if it were 1920 or earlier? Old saying: “Can’t stand prosperity.” Another liberal who’s made her money and can afford to bash anybody or anything. I hope Israel builds 30,000 more “settlements” wherever they please. Go suck on a burrito bitch.

@Callmelennie — One of my favorite topics is the whole “Native American” BS. The people that the ‘tards refer to as native Americans really aren’t. There were two crossings of the land bridge over the Bering Sea, thousands of years apart.
The first group could be called native, I guess. The second group, which became the American Indian tribes, differ from the first group. Scientists have determined that the DNA is similar but does show enough differences to be a different people. The second group wiped out the first group by murder, slavery, and inter-breeding. We only know about the first group because graves have been found with bones and enough material for DNA comparisons.
So when the Europeans showed up, some of them did to the second group what the second group did to the first group. But the Europeans are bad.
I love it when science screws the liberal narrative.
