Inmates Allege They Were Abused With Hot Sauce
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Prison officials in North Carolina are calling for a criminal investigation after inmates alleged correctional officers forced them to rub habanero hot sauce on their genitals, resulting in painful blisters.
N.C. Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Pamela Walker said Monday that officials had asked the State Bureau of Investigation to review conduct at Sampson Correctional Institution.
Walker said one staff member at the prison has been reassigned and another went on leave after the start of an internal investigation, the findings of which are being kept confidential. Additional personnel action could be forthcoming, she said.
“Upon review of an internal investigation, (the Division of Adult Correction) has referred the inmate allegations to the SBI for their review and any subsequent actions they deem appropriate,” Walker said. “DAC considers the allegations to be serious and the alleged actions in violation of policy, which warrants further review by management.”

And I’d bet the inmates who were forced to rub on the hot sauce were the most vile and disgusting wankers in the whole prison. I don’t feel any empathy for them.
Why is it we always have to hear about the wah wahs of vicious convicted criminals, but we never hear prison guards tell us what these nasty characters are really all about in prison?

Years ago, when I was in college, I worked one summer at a swanky country club as a groundsman. One of the members got his dumbass son a job on the grounds crew. One day he complained about getting poison ivy on his genitals (I don’t know how any normal person could do that). He was in a lot of misery due to the burning and itching. He was whining all afternoon, so I sarcastically suggested he wipe himself down with gasoline to ease the pain.
The moron did it!
I never laughed so hard….

I just was dismissed from NC DOP for matters I don’t have time to go into (no hot sauce was invovled). It was a political/union incident.
The inmates always said the difference between them and the correction officers were that they got caught and the C.O.’s didn’t…yet.
