Former CIA Director Petraeus Blames His Mistress

Ronald Kessler reporting from Washington, D.C. — While admitting he “screwed up royally,” former CIA Director David Petraeus is now telling the world that his affair with Paula Broadwell was all her fault.
Petraeus’ friend, Brig. Gen. James Shelton, is saying that Broadwell is responsible for the affair with the married retired general.
Petraeus “was the innocent one when it came to relationships,” Shelton told the Daily Mail of London’s website MailOnline. Besides being beautiful, intelligent, and a fellow West Point Academy graduate, Broadwell is “a savvy woman,” Shelton said. “She’s not a kid. In a lot of ways I think she knows more about the world than Dave — I’m talking about sex.”

Yeah, like they say, it takes one to tango.

How many times more will Petraeus disgrace himself?

Here’s an essay question, class: High ranking military generals are MAJOR politicians. Describe the moral level and character of ANY major politician.

    Class dismissed.

I don’t understand why people look up to generals. It must be ignorance of the military. The Army Officer Corps is one of the most politically correct den of cowards, manipulators, and back-stabbers on the planet.

Remember General Sanchez? He was the cowardly lion that wanted to hunker down in bases and just hope the terrorists would quit doing there thing. If Sanchez had been a warrior instead of a coward, not a darn one of you would know Petraeus’ name.

Given the fact that Petraeus didn’t have the integrity to remain faithful to his wife, given the fact that he didn’t have the honor to defend McCrystal or speak out against Obama’s deadly ROEs for Astan, why in the hell would anyone credit him with anything?

I would not be surprised to find out that “The Surge” was one of his subordinate’s ideas and he just took all the credit.

The man is a coward and tip-toed on treason to lie for Barky’s reelection.

I wish this had been posted on the Duffel Blog, so I could dismiss it as humor.

Been told since Day One of his career not to do such things. Real stand-up guy.

“The woman tempted me” didn’t get Adam off the hook, it won’t you either.

Even though Adam blamed Eve, to God, It was still Adams fault in the end.

The same goes for the General. A real man would claim full responsibility. Man up dude.

This is the friend saying it, not the General himself. The only things that are clear in this whole sordid mess are that Obama had Petraus investigated in order to get something on him. That’s Obama’s way, that’s how he got his start. And he surely has dirt on the the Clinton’s. The other thing is Holly Petraus needed to spend a little more effort on her looks.

Old hat. Adam already tried this tactic back in Eden. Gen 3:12 “The woman, whom thou gavest me to be my companion, gave me..”. Adam tried to blame two others. At least the General is only blaming the girl, or do we need to ask who sent Broadwell? Liberalism was born then, always try to blame someone else.

Are you guys kidding me!?! Look at her! She’s taller than him and looks like she has bigger guns. I bet the next thing that comes out is him telling us she raped him in a tent in Bagram. After all , he’s soooo innocent and sexually naive.

    “Just the tip, honest…”
