And you can work for cash too – I know people who do. Yes they have some disability, but that does not prevent them from consulting or light clerical work

What the American With Disabilities Act really did was create another militant special interest group.

OK, here is the plan. Go to college free with government money, be sure to make it a 6 year deal..no worries, government pays for everything. Graduate at 24 with a dgree in Marsupial Gender Studies and get a job as a union teacher. After 25 years pretending to work 6 hour days, at age 49, slip and fall on some marsupial semen while at work. Go home and get full retirement and disability for the next 30 years raking in 6 figures. Better yet, get a grant to study marsupials on Austrailian beaches, write a text book for the next generation of non-performers and rake in 7 figures!

What a country! Productivity no longer matters!!!

America is truly a nation of miracles. I have several neighbors who collect disability payments. Miracle of miracles! Two weeks after they receive their checks, deys healed. Roofing, yard work, construction labor, they can do it all. Unfortunately, relapse is all to common.
I think the government needs to study, the sudden relapse syndrome, that plagues my neighbors. About $23 gazillion ought to cover it.

So I was watching some US TV (Buffalo I think) and saw commercials starting to air from lawyers who specialize in appealing cases where the US federal government has denied a disability benefit through your Social Security program. They promise to get you a pension or “you don’t pay”. Geezuz, I say lose half the lawyers (up here as well but to be honest ours don’t seem quite as sleazy as yours but they are catching up), eliminate half the law schools (allow law school places in states in the same proportion as that states population to the total US population) and a lot of the problems will clear themselves up.

My ex-sister-in-law had a knee injury from a motorcycle accident at 16 that left an ugly scar but didn’t keep her from doing anything. She decided to go on disability with the knee as an excuse (she actually told me that) and after several weeks of doctor shopping finally got one to sign the papers she needed. 10 years later she’s on every kind of assistance there is, doesn’t work, drives a new car, lives in government subsidized housing, vacations with her kids at Disneyland every year, and continues to visit doctors until she finds someone to write a prescription for the recreational drugs she wants.

And you and I pay for all of it. Burns my ass.

Xavier Turn her in – it takes some time but sooner or later they get around to checking it out and out she will go. Be sure to mention the Doctor if you know them.

As luck would have it, a friend’s wife has just been appointed to lead a regional welfare fraud investigatory group for our state. This is the real deal – she has to be armed while on the job and will testify before Grand Juries about her findings.

We’ll have a little talk over the holidays. I have a lot of reasons to want the ex-S-I-L to burn in hell, and this will be a good start.

Oh f*ck yeah, every time I sneeze a lot I need to take a sick day, and that’ just to make sure my hair and taint look right. Gawd, doesn’t everybody do that these days?

Whats fucked up about this, is people with real disabilities are usually discriminated against.

Knew a lady with parkinsons that devastated her and she could barely walk and was fighting it for 3 years.
Then knew a dirtbag union factory worker who got it for being an alcoholic, and as soon as he got it, his friends hopped on the same bandwagon.

Alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable and its bullshit that people can get on the gubment dole for this.

All y’all, the fakers are a real pisser for me; I just went over a year unemployed after back surgery which resulted in a partially-paralyzed leg.

Social Security sez: “If you can walk you can work.” I say nobody will hire a 60-year old tech that falls down a lot.

So if I seem crabby when talking about leaches, you’ll understand.

“If you can walk you can work.”

More like “if your white and can walk”

About a decade ago, my sisters husband was unemployed for a short stint, and the exact words out of the EEOC taxpayer supported gubment Obama supporting employee who wasn’t caucasian was, “theres no reason why a healthy middleaged white person cant find a job or isn’t working” when she tried to apply for food stamps.
Little hint she lived close to South Bend and Gary IN, where racism against crackers is the norm and the pride of the north.
Or should I say she lived East of shitcagos spawn of a shithole, and black racisms pride and joy?

I guess the waste of taxpayers money figured her no-baby daddy, crack ho, welfare, wic, planned parenthood, EBT food selling, section 8, friend who refuses to work, didn’t need no white person cutting into their scam, whether they truly needed it or not, and she was going to ensure her friend of that via her gubment job.

Nope, no such thing as black racism, just ask Sharpton, Jackson, Ferrykhan, Holder, or Obama.

Two people I know who are disabled had to fight for nearly three years to get SS disability. One has parkinson’s and can barely walk, and the other suffered complications after spinal surgery and can also barely walk. They are both white, and they were both working up until the point they were physically unable to do so.

I began suffering from cluster headaches after some head trauma years ago. They’re extremely painful and affect my balance sometimes. It never occurred to me that I might be disabled, but I may just throw in the towel and sign up. It’s my money. I’ve paid into the system since I was 14, and I’m a hell of a lot more “disabled” than some of the parasites receiving it now.
