That course of action always worked for my girls when they were younger. They had to sit on the couch and hold hands or hug each other. I don’t see it as a negative. Holding hands is the opposite of fighting with hands, so maybe there was a deeper lessen the school wanted to promote.

Even though there’s no link and the statement stands by itself, there is one exception: Young men holding OLD men’s hands (friends of Barney don’t count).

No one’s self-image is at risk there.

    I think it’s great…better than getting suspended.

Except for it being insulting to gays. *Snort*.
    Oh, wait…that’s a BONUS!

Lets face it: in American culture, two guys holding hands is the ghey. The school officials and liberal media can dance around it all they want but it’s still the ghey and everybody knows it.

I can’t wait for the LGBT to raise hell about this punishment. Little by little libtard racism and bias are being revealed.

If public school teachers are the best and brightest, why question their disgression as to how to handle these situations?

I guess that takes care of holding hands when kids play Red Rover these days if they even play it anymore. And playing crack the whip etc. (or any game involving kids holding hands) are doomed. Gimme a frigging break!

Injun wrestling. Flip the other poor bastard so’s his head hits a desk or something. Get the idiot TEACHER who set it up into hot water by making sure every phone cam is running.

For every door that closes, a window opens. Hey it’s self defense.

I don’t know all the facts in this case but I do know this–bullies start fights. When someone fights back in self-defense school authorities hand out the same punishment to them. This evil moral relativism undermines young people’s confidence in authority and sometimes leads to situations like Columbine.
