Last week, Prime Minister Mohammed Morsi granted himself absolute power last week when he eliminated the ability of the judiciary to contest his power. This week, the legislature dominated by Morsi’s Muslim brotherhood and Islamist allies are rushing through a new constitution that critics fear will limit civil rights and the rights of minorities, and will pass it quickly to circumvent a judicial ruling on Sunday.
Once again, this administration is presented with an opportunity to stand up for freedom and individual rights and condemn this illegal power grab by Morsi and support the huge crowds of protestors in Tahrir Square. Unfortunately, as was the case with the Iranian Green revolution, this president has decided not to engage but rather to stand idly by and just vote “present.”
The end result will be instead of having a dictator who stood for a secular Egypt, one who was a friend to both Israel and the United States and the middle east pe
Meanwhile, President Obama plans a twenty day, $4 million vacation in Hawaii after taxpayers have already coughed up $1.4 BILLION for the Celebrity-in-Chief for staffing, housing, travel and entertaining for just last year alone, in an economy mired in high unemployment with 46 million Americans in poverty and a projected over-$20 trillion national debt by the end of his next term.

I did just watch O’Riley (Not a fan) destroy that dumb ass Gov. from Rhode Island, you know Mr. Holiday Tree. If you get a chance, it’s worth the watch. This guy was so intimidated I think he spotted.

Could you imagine the headlines if Romney won and the first thing he did was plan a 4 million dollar 20 day vacation? If he paid for the trip from his personal account the media would still throw a shit storm. The words “Out of touch” would be used like they were going out of style.
But its Obama doing it? With public money? Well, commenting on that would just be Racist(tm) wouldn’t it.
I wish I had a 20 day paid vacation to Hawaii. I’ll bring my laptop and do work remotely even. I’m 2 weeks into a 4 week ‘sprint’ for my company, where myself and the rest of the Engineering team are working 10+ hour days, for no additional pay to our salary (Common in the Game Industry, especially small studios). Art team started their sprint a week before us. They need the vacation more than Sir Golfsalot
How about he takes his vacation in Egypt instead? I hear they make that prettiest sound on earth (according to Obama) five times a day now. What more could you want on a vacation? He can personally view what he accomplished by funding the Arab Spring. (enter Western Winter is Coming joke here)
