Ray Stevens performing If 10% is Good Enough for Jesus- It Should Be Good Enough For Uncle Sam Live in Branson, Missouri in 2010.
Show of hands if you remember his song, The Streak? My BFF and I got the biggest giggle out of that when we were kids.

I loved Ray Stevens in my youth.

Cool. I will say that I read the post before I read who wrote it. My first thought was, why is BFH using the terms “giggled” and “BFF”? Then I saw it was illustr8r that posted the story and I was immediately relieved…….

I remember The Streak when I was younger.
I saw Ray Stevens in concert years ago (Branson) and he put on a great show.
He did this song/video about how Obama is doing the budget.

He is a great entertainer and likes to weave truth & observations into some of his songs.

Fifty years ago a humorous song, silly song or some such was ALWAYS in the top ten. See (i.e. Google): Witch Doctor, Guitarzan, Flowers On The Wall, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Purple People Eater, All American Boy, etc.
