Rand Paul: Why do we have to trade tax increases just to get entitlement reform from Democrats?

The Right Scoop

Rand Paul says we’re all Americans and it doesn’t make sense to him that Republicans would have to trade tax increases just to get entitlement reform from Democrats. And he’s adamant that he’s not going to vote for tax increases because unlike other Republicans who are considering it, he just doesn’t agree with raising revenue by raising taxes. He says the reason we have a revenue problem is because we have no economic growth and too much spending and raising taxes isn’t the way to solve that problem.

He also talks about defining the fiscal cliff and more:

Mark Levin has been all over the non-existent negotiating skills of the R’s.

His Monday night show should be required listening for anyone who thinks they’re conservative:

    It really IS pitchfork/torch time.

Why are the Republicans even discussing this? They should step back and stop validating the Dems decisions by engaging with them.

On a side note please stop using the term “middle class,” this isn’t Britain. You’re letting the progs control the language and shape the argument.

Why isn’t the Department of Eduction cut? It has not taught one child to read.

Why is the Department of Energy cut? It has not produced one kilowatt of electricity.

How many homes has the Department of Housing and Urban Development built? It whould be cut.

See the trend here? Guess that makes me a racist and a sexist.

What difference does it make that we go over “the fiscal cliff” when these politicians have gone over the moral cliff many years before. They are an immoral bunch of creeps that should be pushed over any cliff including what is sitting in the White House. They feel no obligation to the American people; their only obligation is to themselves to hold onto power.
