Allen West met with supporters last night to thank them for their support and when asked whether he would run for election to another office, he simply responded that now isn’t the time and that it’s between he, his wife and God. He added that “God orders your steps, not man, and better doors will open.”

So now Patrick “Flounder” Murphy is Allen West’s congressman. Col. West moved into that district to run there and now has a nice new mortgage to pay off. He’ll find something and soon, but it may not be politics.
I’m in line for his first book, though.
