Most Americans Clueless As ObamaCare Rolls Out
This relates to something I said to BuzzFeed that didn’t make their article.
Millions will qualify for new options under the health care law. Most have no idea. Yes, they may gain some options but they will also lose many and no one has bothered to think about the cost. Given that the GOP messaging in 2012 ended up so far from getting the job done, could right-side new media have done some things along these lines that may have actually helped support a Romney win?
It’s a question I expect more mature and intelligent minds in right-side New Media will likely entertain over time. And any notion that we shouldn’t be asking such questions is pure silliness, or worse, self-serving.

If your above 50 and have chronic disease requiring hospitalizations expect a hospice referral.

I work in healthcare and we are already seeing this. Hospitals don’t want you back within 30 days. If you go hospice it curtails many hospitalizations

One of my offspring had to attend a meeting with her company’s healthcare provider where they laid out the drastic changes.
She was stunned, told me the other employees were scared and didn’t want to believe it.
They thought Obamacare was “free” healthcare.
They find out that costs are going up, benefits are going down and in 2015 they’ll have to find their own private insurance.

I work for the one of the largest government contractors out there, and I just completed my benefits package selection for 2013. This is, by far, the worst health care package I’ve ever received since leaving college. The HMO is dead. It wasn’t even offered. The deductible is $1200, and I have to pay 100% of non-preventative care office visit costs until I reach that point for the year. I can offset it with health care savings account to pay it off pre-tax, but that’s the best it gets.
ACA means that everybody gets shitty insurance, period. In a few years, everybody will have coverage in name and payments only. The actual health care will be total shit though.
